The lodge was fantastic - clean and cosy, not too small, perfect for our family of five. The surroundings are very quiet and beautiful and we loved that there are things around for free use for the kids - an archery set, a football and a goal, and a pingpong table. Communication was great, they messaged first via booking and were always responsive through WhatsApp. David apologised that he couldn't be there the day we arrived, but came the next morning to check if everything was ok, and gave us some tips of things to visit. Unfortunately, as no one was around the day we arrived, we missed the wellness centre, despite having looked for it - we found it the next day with David's instructions. The hot tub was fantastic! The heated pool was clean but the water was very cold, perhaps because the weather was very cold outside too. We didn't try the sauna. I thought the heating was included in the price but it's paid as an extra (Euros 25) - we didn't use one because it was only two nights, but it did get very cold in the night. However, all of this was compensated by David's attention, who let us stay longer the day we were checking out and gave us a discount due to some issues with calculating the final amount to pay. Center Parcs is just on the other side of the fence which worked really well for us as we wanted to spend a day there in Aqua Mundo. There's a private entrance to center parcs from De Glamping, and a 20% discount for a day pass if you stay in De Glamping, which we didn't know about before booking, but managed to get a refund. Overall it was an awesome experience, thank you!

It is a little far away from public transportation options. And it was hard to find a reception since there is none. The owner of the place comes up to you and gives you the key, which was a little strange, but it was not bad at all, just a little weird.

It was a very nice tent, in a perfect quiet location with lots of extra amenities like a pool, sauna, fireplace, picnic benches etc. The staff is friendly and the whole ambiance was very relaxed, refreshing and just the overall stay was very nice.

    No bad points

This was a really lucky find. We booked quite late but we were surprised just how much it suited us. The location was perfect….quiet country side, but close enough for an easy day trip to Amsterdam. Our host was very flexible as we needed a late checkin, and he couldn’t have been any friendlier or helpful.

    Nothing, everything was great.

Clean, cute and cozy tents with literally everything we needed. Very well equipped kitchen, with all utensils and also a coffee machine. Beds were very comfortable, the bunk beds very stable even for an adult on top. Option to get fresh bread in the morning for a small fee. The area around is well maintained and nice for outdoor activities. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with everything, you can feel they want to make it a nice place.

No fault of de Glamping, nature is nature!! but quite a few mosquitos in the corner by the firewood, so we recommend packing insect repellant and citronella for those summer months!

Green, quiet, small, yet still enough to do for everyone in the family. Extremely friendly and helpful owners who let kids drive around on their buggy. Also loved heated pool & sun lounging area. Tents modern and fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break.

We did not like that there weren’t enough heaters and we were very cold over night. We also didn’t like how expensive it was for the nightly rate plus all of the fees. Also, it’s frustrating to have to spend time pulling sheets, trash and sweeping when we are already paying a cleaning fee.

We liked the property amenities like the pool, hot tub, and the trampoline. We really appreciated the communal bonfire and how the guests were encouraged to participate. We really valued the customer service. David was available with a golf cart and trailer to haul all of our belongings to our tent at check in. We also really like the amenities of the tent like the shower, toilet, fridge and coffee maker. Also, the beds were comfortable.
