Excellent reception by receptionist Elizabeth who was v friendly, helpful and informative. She even entertained us with exceptional vocal and piano talents!Great facilities for cycle storage. I loved everything!!!!

Oh, my God!!!! What a wonderful place! I was received by Elizabeth, that played the piano and sang for me! She cooked a meat ball and gave to me and it was so delicious... The place has a do nostalgic atmosphere and I simply love it. The breakfast is full of options and everything is done with love. I totally recommend this place for everything that wants to feel very welcome.

The Hotel was in a great location, the owners were very friendly, the lady would even sing you a song or two, didn't have the breakfast only because we don't usually at home either. The hotel was literally about 8 to 10 mins from the train and bus stations. We have no complaints whatsoever.

The place has a unique atmosphere. It is selling artworks on corridors. The breakfast is diverse and offers many options (you cannot chose, but you get on your plate at the table all one wants for breakfast). Rooms are clean.

Staff were very loud in the morning at 6am. No consideration for the guests. Shouting and talking very loud from the kitchen right next door to our two rooms we had booked. Night time staff stand on the balcony outside the window and are on the phone or talking until passed 10pm. 3 young children getting woken up from the noise. Rooms very basic, one of the rooms bathroom door locks on own, toilet gets blocked as little flush. Charge on top of the original price when arriving for 'tourist fee'. Definitely won't be staying again.

The main problem was the cold. It appears that the heating is turned off totally at night, no doubt to save money, which is understandable in the current economic climate, but all five rooms we booked were like iceboxes when we got back after the show and this created quite a lot of bad feeling. The other problem is that there's no actual parking attached to the hotel; there IS a decent amount of paid street parking, but the street was also used as a market on the day we were there, so we couldn't have got in there anyway.

The location was excellent as we were working at the local theatre, just five minutes walking distance away, and the hotel is literally right in the centre of town. The rooms were well-sized, clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a lot of local character. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and one of the proprietors is also an excellent singer who performs in the foyer !

The hotel is right in the centre and perfect for being close to shops and restaurants etc. All the staff are extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back there soon.

One of the nicest stays I have had in a long time! Lovely spacious room. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were really polite and engaging. My thanks to my hostess for a lovely fresh packed breakfast in time for my 5am start. Highly, highly recommended property!
