Our room was rather small, but comfortable nonetheless (the bathroom was good size). We had an adorable private terrace looking into the greenery.

Absolutely quiet, close to the national park and the Kröller-Müller Museum. The ambitious restaurant was very good (don’t forget to reserve a table for dinner!). We borrowed bikes to ride to the museum (3-3.5 km away). There are hiking trails all around the property.

This is my second time here and we opted for a cabin this time, hoping for less noise with children. Our dinner was quite awful because of the children literally running all over. We will not be returning, unfortunately. This place is like the Great Wolf Lodge in America minus the swimming pool.. So, if you are looking for a romantic dinner location it is not here. Breakfast was the same situation.... Really surprised they allow what they do with children literally RUNNING, coming up to your table and standing, while other couples are trying to have a pleasant evening. The entilement of the parents allowing this while they enjoy their evenings is astounding.

Very romantic and peaceful location. Love the outdoor seating with firepits. Great wine options and food was good. Staff is very welcoming and friendly.

Kids are a buzz killer. We had some extremely noisy kids before 8 am, slamming doors and running through hallways, screaming. However, this problem is solely the fault of inconsiderate and rude adults/ parents. The hotel has no fault in this

Lodge is absolutely beautiful. Very friendly and accomidating staff. It was past a certain hour for a particular dish, but the kitchen staff happily made it for us . The food and wine were both excellent. The shower was amazing !!!! It's very much a gem in the Netherlands

there is no coffee or tea making facility in the room, nor in a communal area, so if you wake up early or can not sleep or are jetlagged you are stuck with tapwater....

the atmosphere in the whole place is lovely. The food was very good, the quality of bread at bfast was great.

    Nothing!

Lovely setting in the forest, close to the National Park and the wonderful Kröller-Müller Museum. The room was very comfortable, with nice fittings, for two people it might have been a little small, but for me alone it was excellent, had windows on two sides. Breakfast was very good, including something cooked from their menu. The evening meal was also very good, but a little overpriced for what it was. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It would be even better to a few more vegan food options on the menu, especially for breakfast.

We loved our stay here! Amazing atmosphere. Arrived took the lodge and immediately felt relaxed. The decor was very thoughtful, there was nice music playing, and the place smelled amazing. The room was cozy with a private terrace. Enjoyed watching the stars by the wood fire at night. It’s lodged in the forest and felt very peaceful. We visited to celebrate our birthdays and the hotel staff surprised us with cake :) We only stayed for one night and came home feeling rested as if we had been on holiday for several days.

If I had to mention something, it was perhaps the lock of the door that was not perfectly working. The room was not super spacious. For the two of us it would be perfect, but with a little toddler perhaps a bit on the small side.

I loved the styling, decoration and furniture in the lodge. You really see that it is all about quality. Location is perfect. With view on nature. And last but not least, the food was amazing!

Some of the small details in the cottage could have been better thought out e.g. towel hook in the toilet, kettle to make cup of tea, box of tissues

Excellent breakfast, if a little busy when we were there. The cottage was gorgeous and had an amazing view. Very easy access to the Hoge Veluwe national park. Great bistro with good food.

I guess access to our room (#15), up two flights of stairs was the only less than perfect point. The second staircase was particularly steep, with tiny steps. It would be challenging for some visitors.

The location of Wever Lodge is exemplary - looking directly out onto the nature park, which has a range of walking routes through the dunes and woods directly surrounding the hotel. There is a delightful terrace surrounding the restaurant, with further seating in garden areas below the main terrace. It's always possible to find somewhere private to enjoy a drink, read or to relax. The restaurant offers good and varied food, good service, and a beautiful outlook. In the mornings they serve an extensive breakfast, with standard fare, and fresh cooked to order options. While our room (#15) was fairly small, it was perfectly equipped, had recently been refurbished. It has an excellent air conditioning, making it comfortable even during the 27-30 degrees enjoyed during our stay. Last but not least - all the personnel we encountered were friendly, helpful and well-trained. The hotel is just 10-15 minutes walk from the Otterlo entrance to the Hoge Veluwe park - so it's an ideal location for visiting the park and the Kroller Muller museum and gallery.

There is truly only one place for improvement: the evening dinner was quite pricey and not at all tasty. That was a shame because, had the restaurant food been even just passable, the view from the hotel's deck would have compensated enough to eat there more than once.

The location is beyond perfect; one is a 10 minute walk from the Otterloo entrance to the Hoge Veluwe Park. The hotel itself is situated in the middle of the woods, with trails leading out basically from its terrace into the typical Veluwe landscape. The breakfast was great. The buffet may seem a bit less generous than some other places but this is a false impression. One can select from a wide ranging menu, all made fresh to order. The staff is utterly charming and helpful without ever sounding insincere. The beds were excellent.
