How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This is not really a negative point, but know that the room was a bit small. It was exactly like on the pictures. And the living room is really nice, so there is more space there. Nobody was using it that evening.
Very nice and calm place in the country and very close to the Efteling. Price was excellent for 2 adults and 1 kid. With a good breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming owners. There is a very nice playground in front of the restaurant.

The property is very well located close to the Efteling. The owners are very nice and there is a wide choice for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. It is an excellent place if you want to visit the Efteling and the area (lots of walks in nature close to the location)

What a little Gem, we just wanted a crash pad for a visit to Efteling. But what a beautiful place Owners Harrie and Marianne have given up mushroom farming to run this B+B, plus upmarket camping. Very well appointed apartment, for 4, double bed plus bunk beds quality appliances including dishwasher and full size freezer. We we there for Efteling 10mins drive away, which was brill. Unfortunately that weekend was a storm weekend so did nt get to explore much, apartment had heating and cooling we had the heating on which worked well. Breakfast was a tasty continental style with nice warm breads available

This hotel was excellent, by far our favorite hotel during a 3-week trip around the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. The hotel is located in a beautiful rural area surrounded by fields, small towns, and livestock. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable (with incredible air conditioning). The WiFi was extremely fast and the hotel included free parking! There was also a common room with a kitchenette, tables, board games, etc. We wished we had spent more time here, it was lovely.

Really nice staff/owner who went out of their way to make our stay good. Restaurant is only open a few days a week so we went to Tilburg to eat. Had a nice evening in Tilburg and a great sleep at the hotel. Breakfast was great there.

Nothing really. Perhaps breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was but room did have small kitchen if you wanted to make it yourself.
Would definitely recommend if in the area visitjng The Efteling. Nice quiet location but less then 10 minutes drive from the Theme Park. There's a decent on site restaurant and the there's a nearby town (5 minute drive for more options). There's also a brand new playground on site to help keep the kids amused. Accomodation was very reasonably priced.

The hotel is very clean and feels homely despite the modern and elegant interior; the owners are very friendly and add that extra layer of class! As we had a rental car and had day passes for De Efteling, this hotel worked out extremely well for us.

Lovely location a little way from the village, which has a number of facilities including a play park. It was great to sit out on an evening on the terrace of the restaurant. Handy for Efteling park and for cycling activities. Lovely friendly hosts.

The staff were very friendly and the room was excellent! Very clean and modern. The restaurant is great too, my family and I were very pleased and would definitely return if we are at Efteling again. Highly recommend!

We loved it all!
The location is in a nice and quiet place. Surrounded by nature and fresh air. Clean and comfortable rooms, welcoming and helpful hosts, both the lady and her husband.
