The bathroom felt outdated and the bathroom floor was really cold. Breakfast was basic and bland (scrambled/boiled eggs, breads, cereals). Very overpriced like everything in Amsterdam.

A cozy small hotel in central Amsterdam, walking distance from the trainstation and main tourist areas (~20mins). The stay was comfortable and the room was very queit (windows did not face the street).

I would have liked a room with a better view. Though I understand that I got a good price ;-)

The front room was beautiful and inviting. The staff excellent and very helpful with recommendations. I also liked the central location. Easy to get to almost everything.

We didn't know there wasn't a life and our room was up a lot of flights of stairs . This made carrying our suitcases up difficult. A vacuum cleaner was stored on the stairs landing

The location and the spacious rooms. Cute and elegant bathroom.

The location and the warm reception of the staff, especially the two receptionists I’ve interacted with. Excellent and friendly ladies.

Though the sink in the bathroom had a beautiful blue design, it did not fit the stand well and did not drain properly.

Great breakfast in a pretty ground floor room and lovely decorations with original architecture. We also liked the lounge next to the reception and the big yellow chairs!

There were no chairs, no luggage rack and no kettle, however they do have Nespresso coffee maker. The stairs were steep, especially for 3rd and 4th level. Not for those who have height phobia, elderly and people who are not able to carry luggage above waist height. Windows are not sound proof and you can hear birds chirping, which was not an issue for me. Bathroom was badly renovated. Shower head holder and toilet roll fittings came loose. There is no shelf for shampoo or shower gel when bathing. Shower door is about 0.5m wide when fully open, water pressure was extremely low, hence longer time was needed when showering. Suggestions: Pethaps Hotel can fix a sturdy horizontal handle bar just right below the floor board for Attic room so that customer can hold on to the bar and avoid any accident fall.

Convenient location with many shopping and food options around and walking distance to museums (15mins) The room size was of decent size, sheets were clean and fresh towels were provided daily. Staff were friendly and professional. Simple breakfast was provided with the stay. We stayed in attic room with no canel view. Since room was at level 4, the view was not obstructed and was quite windy (it was 8degree celsius when we were there) despite no aircon and fan.

The very steep narrow stairs with no lift were a real challenge with luggage. The room service was hit & miss with rooms not visited every day. Breakfast not being available until 8 at weekends was an issue as I missed it to be ob a trip out of the city, so that was a disappointment.

Great central location close to Metro & tram & walking distance to all major parts of the city. Staff all lovely & very helpful. Good selection for breakfast.

As it an old building you can occasionally hear guests from another room, but overall it was fine.

Central located an easy 20 minute walk form Amsterdam Central station, lovely staff, an nice boutique compact hotel. Room small and function, with a small desk so I was bale to work. The bed was nice and comfortable.

It would have been great to have a few hooks in the room to hang up a few coats and bags as well as the towels in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel is pretty central making it easy to get about by foot easily. If need the tram stop is very close by as well making it a fabulous location for a short trip to Amsterdam.

The top floor room really is what you would call top floor!! If you are physically fit, you will not be able to get up to it. Although once inside, it was lovely - it genuinely is comparable to a scramble up a peak. There is even a Firemans pole at the top to help you pull yourself up. Once in the room, it was clean and comfortable with a view of the historical rooftops

Lovely decor, friendly staff, very clean rooms, great location and well priced

It is an old building and there is no elevator. You need to carry your suitcase all the way up in a narrow and steep staircase. The breakfast can be improved.

Lots of steps. I knew there was steps but for the third floor there were 60 steps and it was like 10 steps then turn round a corner and another 10 steps so get really dizzy. I run three times a week and I thought it was too much. So be aware if not mobile. The breakfast was okay but kept running out of croissants. No hot food other than eggs but it does state continental so can’t fault on that just preference. I got bit three times in the bed. I didn’t check for bed bugs but just weird being bit every night.

    Beautiful decor, staff really friendly.
