Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsBreakfast was simple for the price. For the rest all great, maybe a suggestion to add daylight curtains on windows for privacy on ground floor studios.
Great communal facilities, comfortable big room with stylish design. We enjoyed being in a quiet area overlooking vineyard and hills. Staff was also very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed their sparkling wine tasting and also purchased some to enjoy home.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful accommodation which has been very tastefully restored. The rooms are lovely and there is a very spacious common area with a small kitchen where you can make tea or coffee and a fridge with wine and minerals and snacks available (these you pay for). I sat on the balcony in the morning enjoying the view out over the vineyards. There is an emphasis on sustainability which we also appreciated.

We liked the view, the design of the room, the breakfest, the staff, the area. It was very quiet. There is an excellent restaurant 30 minutes walk in the forrest (Hijgend Hert) with great food and atmposhpere.

The breakfast was beautifully served and delicious to eat. It was served in a window filled room with views of the vineyard. Breakfast was elegantly presented in a box filled with rolls, breads, eggs, yogurt, homemade granola and jelly. Meats and cheeses were served on the side. We looked forward to the scrumptious spread both mornings of our stay!

Netherlands- The guided winery tour - we felt like our guide was not an expert in this field. - note that they produce only sparkling wines, it was our mistake that we did not carefully check but would not spend more than 1 night because you would not want to drink sparkling wine for several days :) the wines were a bit pricey.
We really liked the facility and had a pleasant stay. The breakfast and the room was really nice. The scenery was amazing. Friendly staff.

The place is lovely. If you wanna discover excellent brut wines from the region, this is definitely a good place. Breakfast is a must. Evelyn and all the staff are very helpful and friendly.

NetherlandsAlthough we stayed for 4x nights, our room wasn’t cleaned (only towels replaced). Not a big deal, but would have been nice to have it done once, maybe. People walking past the ‘atelier room’ was a little annoying, but we didn’t mind too much.
Amazing setting with incredible view over the vineyard and valley. Super friendly and helpful staff. Added bonus were the variety of birds you can observe from the comfort of your room: A pair of nesting ‘Little owls’, Green Woodpecker and numerous others. Great location for exploring the area and recommend taking the eBikes for hire.

GermanyFood is expensive. Additionally the staff charged us more than what was mentioned for the bikes and weren't sorry about it when pointed out. It seems either the rates are applied based on what suits them the best or there is no communication between staff on what to charge.
The location was great and beautiful, you can get to a lot of places though bikes or hike in a beautiful forest or hilly areas which is exactly what we were looking for. The place was clean, had a nice living room to have coffee and tea, which we really appreciated. We overall enjoyed our stay.
