handicap access was difficult. Even taking the elevator to the first floor, there was still a set of steps to navigate. I asked to have the lunch, and the manager was very rude, asking if we had a reservation. She expressed surprise we didn't make a reservation, even though there were many empty tables.

I expect to be welcomed in the local language Wifi is not free. Rooms are quite small, due to the historic building - this however does not match the price.

No fresh coffee, fresh orange juice it said at the front above the little tap; unfortunately it was ordinary artificial orange juice out of a a box. No big deal, but it says " Hilton" in the hotel's name ... Noblesse oblige ?

The air con in the room wasn’t straightforward and no instructions, no heating in the bathroom, breakfast was indifferent- other guests were asked if they wanted eggs but I wasn’t, expensive at €19 so I would recommend getting breakfast elsewhere

Parking is actually subject to availability, not just a matter of a daily fee - and not possible to reserve Staff is largely "horeca" students who do their best but not all up to professional standards yet. Also, welcome manner and smile is a bit awkward and insecure...

Airconditioning is very complicated to operate. During the night it appears not be able to customise Reception when arriving was not very friendly, even bit square.

Modern outlay in characteristic building. Comfortable spacious rooms, great breakfast. Great shower Staff in breakfast room is very friendly and very customer oriented. Great parking facilities and also close to railway station (15 minutes to Maastricht)

Breakfast of good quality, but same selection every day. Hotel very well placed, closed to train/bus station. Very nice dinner before the concert.
