The room was tiny. Minimal space to stow/leave things in the room. There was a bad humming sound in the room (from outside facilities?). I could sleep with help of earplugs.

Room wasn't clean, hairs and spider web all over cross to the room. Bed was terribly uncomfortable. Especially Matras and pillow. Noone was checking under the bed terribly dusty. It was good prices but no expected to be so dirty room and uncomfortable bed.

Restaurant and food was great and welcoming by reception also great.

We arrived in the evening in our room and there was not of noice from the street. It felt like we were sleeping outside. We went to the reception and asked if we could change the room, but they were fully booked. We did not sleep the whole night.

Would have liked a non-slip mat in the bath! It was a little bit cool in the restaurant in the evening.

Very nice comfortable room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff.

Its a long walk to any shops, it seems more for people with cars. And the walls are paper thin, first nights i slept amazing, but last night one room had their alarm go off three times around 5am, someone else was shuffling on the carpet in the room above and it was so audible that i thought someone was in the room, then last couple left around 7am and i could hear everything from toilet break, bags being packed, doors being shut, to them walking down the stairs. Not sure if the newer part of the building has better soundproofing

The location is perfect for a family with children. The hotel is in the middle of Apenheul, Paleis het Loo and the Konining Julianatoren amusement park. There is also a very nice walk in the woods surrounding the Apenheul, all within 15 minutes walk from the hotel. Unfortunately the trainstation is a bit further, roughly 30 minutes walk, so i would recommend going around by bikes or car if you want to visit the city more. The hotel room was good size, wat really did it for me was the comfy bed and the bath tub... Never slept better haha. They also offered an electrical bike service but i didnt end up taking it, but just FYI.

In a lovely area but quite a journey through the residential streets of Apeldoorn. Watch out for tourist cyclists.

Car parking, clean, accommodating staff even if arriving late, comfortable and quiet.

Reasonable hotel, but could do better

Room and bathroom both very small in old part of hotel with outdated furniture. I know they can't do anything about the weather, but the room was like a sauna with the sun having been blazing directly into the room all afternoon and no air conditioning. They had opened the one (small) window and there was a fan in the room, but this is useless once the heat is in the room as all it does is blow the hot air around. A bit of forethought could have helped mitigate the impact i.e. they should have closed the curtains and switched the fan on before the sun hit the room. Both times I've stayed here the beer from the pump has been 'bad' which can't be a coincidence, so stick to the bottled beers. Breakfast not so great this time either. Bacon & scrambled egg looked under-cooked so avoided, and bread rolls were hard - not exactly stale but not far off

Second time I've stayed here as location convenient for my ferry links between Hook of Holland & Harwich. Not such a good experience this time though. Nice dinner in the evening Large spacious car park

Overpriced dirty room with noisy heater
    • Business trip
    • Solo traveller
    • Small Double Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

Around 11pm banging sounds started to pop up periodically from turned off central heater. Loud enough to prevent from falling asleep. Security guard, the only staff member during the night, had no idea what to do. In the morning another receptionist explained this is known issue. She could not answer why their stuff neither informed nor able to phone right people to solve issues. Receptionist neither displayed empathy nor offered any compensation, hiding behind inability to swap the room being fully booked at the time. Other issues, like loud toilet pipe located in wardrobe (sic!), sticky greasy net curtains that were not washed for years, dirty carpet and chairs, were negligible in comparison to unwanted technoparty in my room; it was no surprise though as other visited Fletcher hotels systematically suffered from cleanliness issues as well.

The most important thing in a hotel is "bed". This bad is very very narow and on 1 side there is no support beneath so you slide down. Not confartale at all, not good for a sleep at all.

The room is well organized, comfortable, and clean but not spacious which was not a problem. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of choices. The bed was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my son and I stay an enjoyable one. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Apeldoorn.
