The stay was very good, very comfortable rooms and the location was surreal. The food at the restaurant was amazing. A must try. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and also the food.

The only issue was that there was no lift so had to climb stairs with my heavy luggage.

Good location for visitors to Giethorn in case no suitable options available in Giethorn itself (as was in our case as those were more expensive. The room was clean and normal size incl. bathroom. Staff was friendly, however, they were all in the restaurant so you need to go there to find them, which was not a big issue. We did not use the restaurant but it was full of people in the evening so seemed a popular place.

One of the two beds was not in perfect shape. If you don't have a car this hotel could be a problem , there is no bus in the weekend. But if you have one , it's perfekt.

The breakfast could be a little richer , i missed the warm food , but for it price it was perfekt . The location was excellent, if you have a car giethoorn is 15 minutes away. But the lake outside of the hotel is beautiful and calming . We already think about coming back to this hotel because of the location and the great food . It was clean and comfy, amazing showers. The food was excellent, the restaurant is amazing and an experience. Great service and cooking.

the room door is not isolated, so I could hear outside conversations, as if they were inside my room. next door neighbours closing and opening the doors was very loud too. this was the worst. i was waking up every time. Those doors need some cushions and isolation. Bar staff could be friendlier.

the location is to die for. incredibly beautiful. the breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant and bar just gorgeous. it is very relaxing since the arrival.

Room is amazing - large, modern, comfortable and clean. Big bathroom. Restaurant's meals were great. Location is fantastic, very scenic and close to Giethoorn. Staff is friendly and helpful. Also kettle in the room - seems to be a luxury in many European hotels.

It’s not a complaint, just an observation. This was a very isolated location and you would need a car or taxi to get into town. But you would know this when you made your booking.

Quiet location on the banks of a river. Large modern bedroom and bathroom. A big radiator to dry my cycling clothes. Restaurant attached with a good selection of food and drink, very good atmosphere like an old English pub. The prices were reasonable. A good breakfast was supplied the next morning.

The location looked a little bit outdated. We had to pay when we arrived because we didn’t want to take also the breakfast in the morning at their location, or at least this was the explanation. We felt ourselves as we are considered fugitives in the morning and they don’t want to take the risk that we leave without paying, but it was late at our arrival and with two kids we wanted to go to sleep and pay next day but they came to our room to ask for payment 🤦‍♀️

We liked the location of this guesthouse. We slept very good, the matrices are very good. The rooms were spacious and clean, the bathroom also. I requested two rooms with view but none had any beautiful view even if I booked the room so much time in advance. The terrace was amazing and there was very quiet and peaceful ♥️

Lights went off 3-4 times while showering for less than 10 minutes. Motion detectors should be set to a longer time. No electric charging station for a car although booking.com says otherwise. The bathroom floor was very cold! But we were still quite happy with our stay.

Outdated room, yet the shower/bathroom was very modern and nice. The restaurant although a little more on the expensive side, was superb! Definitely worth a visit.

The dinner was delicious but the portions were pretty small and you end up paying much more than usual.

The size and layout of the room was the best thing! Totally recommend for more than 3 as it has diferent ambients divided by a large bathroom with 2 doors. The location is a little far from villages but it's really peaceful and calm. During summer might be unbelievably pretty.
