we wanted to book for dinner and it was impossible even if we wanted to wait. I understand there need to be Covid restrictions but these were really ridiculous strict since there were very few people having dinner, and there was plenty of space; also when we came back. The WiFi was really bad in the rooms. Otherwise good value for money, a pity for the Wifi and the not accepting diners anymore at 7:30

- Breakfast experience is not so nice: lights in the restaurant is too dark, no trays are provided, not easy to find where’s the cuttlery, the route is not efficient (too crowded meaning no 1,5m distance guaranteed), often they are running out of bread and takes long time to refill, some staffs look inexperience…. And the food quality is just not 4stars hotel quality. - bed is not comfortamble, and the extra bed is noisy - it takes a long time to check-out (I wait for 15mins), they still use old method

The staff is not forthcoming. When asking for drinks in the lobby I don't need to know that 7 coffees needed to be done first before she could take my order. I had to come back to place my order. Five staff members standing together and talking while I had to bring to the attention that the ham at breakfast was finished. We constantly had to find staff to get drinks, to find our own table in the restaurant. To ask for a menu. The only one standing out was the tall barman with the beard. We couldn’t have breakfast at our preferred time. The hamburger was not hot and revolting. The cheese platter was not well presented. The price of the water on the menu is not the same as on the computer. Doggies have a drinking bowl however they were not filled with water. I had to bring this to the staff’s attention. The weed on the terrace should have been removed and the old flowers be swept. Human touch is missing. The menu is very small for the size of the hotel. Only 3 red wines on the list. We had to pay €19,50 per night for our doggie, a little Dachshund who sleeps in his own bench. We were promised a welcome pack for our dog but we were not given one. When I phoned reception I was told they didn’t have any welcome pack left. A knob was missing on the cupboard in our room. In the cupboard it looks old. There is a black paint mark on the chair. The table in the bay window is not suited for the room. It is a garden table. We had two hand wash basins but only one soap dispenser, placed on the right side of the right basin. Better to put it centred between the two basins. Or one for each basin. The pressure of the water and the shower head is what you would expect in a 2 star hotel, not in a 4 star hotel. Overall: A better general manager needs to do the job. And teach the staff that they are there for the guest. Pamper the guest. Go the extra mile!

Very spacious from the bedroom to the bathroom, the lounge, the lobby and the terrace. The blue colours everywhere. Enough parking for the complex. Possibility of one hour later checkout.

I think the rooms should be painted and dressed in the same style as the lobby. Also the restaurant needs this update. The hotel is beautiful from the outside, the lobby, the size of the rooms and balconies or terraces are great. It could be a gem!! If the low walls outside next to the stairs would be painted white again, the impression of the hotel would be boosted a 300 %. Like it is, it makes the hotel look old and faded.

Sauna’s were never working… At first glans everything looks really luxurious, when looking a little dealer bower you notice how things are all a bit tired and due for maintenance.

Loved that it had a pool… setting and environment was really unique and beautiful!

Hard to carry bags from car to hotel entrance due to the many stairs. Some sort of luggage service would have been in place.

Overall good hotel, on walking distance from nature/dunes. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom. Good lobby and breakfast. Very dog friendly.

Lighting in room was weak for evening reading. Hotel head office (not hotel location) generating emails to capture tons of personal details for all members of family inc payment details etc. Maybe good intention but really poor experience at my end.

Everything went well, nice staff everywhere. They run a very robust good corona "routine" making it easy to enjoy the stay. The Breakfast was abundant and delicious.

When we checked into the rooms, everything was still dirty—dirty beds, dirty bathrooms, etc. After asking the receptionist, they sent someone to clean it in 2.5 hours. The first night, my son wasn't feeling well, so I wanted to use the service for cleaning the bed and the bathroom in between nights. It didn't happen until I called twice and needed to get angry because housekeeping was already done for the day. Other guests on our floor wanted to let them clean the room as well and were also skipped. Oh yeah, the restaurant only had one vegan option and barely any options for guests with allergies.

We liked the small but nice swimming pool. The bed was also big, and we had a nice balcony in the sun. The parking lot was close to the entrance, and the employees were nice.

We asked for room cleaning , but they did not clean the toilet in my room at all , it was the same as when we left in the morning , and staffs from reception saying different things , when we asked the male staff at reception if kids need to pay for breakfast, he said it’s free for kids , when we wanted to book breakfast next day , female staffs told us price is for per person regardless kids or not , which we were not happy with as caused confusion to us

The rooms are boring, amenities are practically none, the bed sheets were simply very poor. The first night we even had 2 single bed sheets, but a king size bed, struggle with the sheets during the night. The room was spacious, but it was so boring that I wanted to check out after the first night. Even the ceiling lights was just a simple down light. The bathroom was also spacious, but the shower was 90 * 90 cm. No amenities like toothbrush / paste. The mini bar was empty. As this was a 4 star property and is called "Grand Hotel" we had higher expectations. It is not possible to reach the entrance by car, not even to drop the luggage. Several stairs needed to be walked of which the steps only fit small size girls shoes.

In fact I liked nothing about the hotel.

During check in, we were informed that they would give us an upgrade. The room we got was the family one (two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and small “kitchen” area). It was indeed a lot bigger than the standard one we booked, almost not necessary as it was just the two of us..but we were happy with it! However, it was old, with some holes and dirty marks on the walls, the cushions in the living room were full of hair from previous guests, the bathrooms had mold and the paint was coming off, and the bedsheet in the main bedroom was half the size of the bed. There is a note in the room that they will only clean and make your bed if you leave the sign on the door, which we did - but they only changed the towels (which was not needed) and left the rest as it was. When we asked the reception staff, three times, if someone could make our bed and also put a bedsheet with the right size, they showed up on our door with the folded bedsheet and told us we should change it ourselves because the responsible team had left already. In the end, the upgrade was not such a great thing. The reception staff is inexperienced, not friendly and not willing to help. We expected a lot more from a hotel like this..

The main lobby was very nice and cozy, and the bar/restaurant staff was very friendly! Breakfast was also very good, with a lot of options.

Services are not great, very low to none availability! more like 3.5 star, not 4! Wanted a massage but it's an external contract, Hotel doesn't manage booking and capacity is quickly overload. Basically need 3 days to book. Same goes for the restaurant, asked for a table at the check-in(we checked in at 15h) but restaurant was already full booked but the hotel was far from full. They proposed us some snack in the lobby but no alternatives restaurant in the surrounding. Then the worst ,Breakfast, 1st not a massive choice(just the basics) but ok, could be good enough but, when it was about mi-service, scrambled egg were finished and when I asked for more, they said it was not possible, please use what's left! Same for the pancake, but as we were 2 to literally beg it for our kids they finally made few more... Also no room service and bar close at 22:30.

Hotel is clean and nicely decorated, staff is nice and sympathic but quite young in general, missing "some" experience. Sauna and pool good.

Literally everything was dirty. Like a nightmare, hair from former guests in the bed and the bathroom of the bad smelling room. There where dirty carpets in the rooms and broken walls. Totally no flair in the room also. Then we went to the wellness where everything is even worse. The floors a moddy , the pool extremely dirty and the sunbeds moldy.

Beds are uncomfortably small. For the price, I had not expected to sleep in bed consisting of two single-beds shoved together. Interior of the rooms are also a bit dated.

The room was not clean. The breakfast service was quite poor and the choices limited. Finding a parking place is always quite difficult. The check-out a nightmare (waiting for 20 mins. at least)!

The situation of the hotel is quite nice and the decoration of the hotel quite modern and trendy!
