Furnishing was old (could do with rennervating), very basic facilities (in room). There was also a un-pleasant smell coming from the downstairs hallway.

Location, staff were friendly and the bed was comfy enough.

Despite the potential, the owner(s) must be really stingy. They dont even fix minor issues like rust around mirrors, paint falling off cabinets, walls need painting, etc..

It was so hot in the room unable to sleep the whole night we asked for a fan but they dis not have any it was really not comfortable since they also did not have an AC.

The room was a little sparse. Some more furniture items (for example another chair or couch) and a better bathroom would be great.

Not normal lighting in the room , it was like a candle! In the shower room half glass door , the wather goes everywhere in the bathroom ,not compfortable , room missed cleaning normally. Not recommend. For this price - no quality !

Unfortunately, my room was only so so. The remotes for the TV were not working, one of them was even missing batteries. It was quite difficult to cool the room down, because it was located in the basement and the windows did not really too much fresh breeze in, especially because opening everything allowed the others in inner terrace to look into your room. But the worst was the door - between the entrance and stairway was another door, that was just squeaking loudly and was always slammed into the locking mechanism. The room was unfortunetaly very thin walled, meaning that i could hear every squeak and other guests entering and some of them were really loud.

Very good located (near Leidseplein), Drugstore and groceries were nearby. The personal was very helpful and friendly and the hotel was overall clean.

When I arrived the front desk associate was in the backroom, and I was wondering how the heck do I get inside. Luckily, another guest came and let me in the hotel. Then I was standing by the front desk and the kid comes out after several minutes and says he was in the back office. My room didn't have any wash cloths, and the soap was about as small a bar of soap as I've ever seen. I had 3 shower floor towels so I had to use one of those. My room also didn't have any toilette paper when I arrived. Luckily I noticed before I used the restroom. I asked the kid for some, and he went rummaging for a few minutes, and found it. The window to my room had a terrible latch that didn't work so I had to close my window fully instead of leaving it partially open, but secure, because if I didn't someone could have come in through the window and stolen my stuff. The day I was checking out there was insane noise. One detail that seemed very weird is them asking on a questionnaire my city of birth, along with some "unnecessary questions."

Basically it was a hotel room. No extras. It was serviceable.

To be honest it was a bit tattie could do with a bigger bathroom. The shower pipe was leaking so the shower presure was low we didnt moan or complain. Room service just made the beds and only gave bath towels weren't given any face towels,also the room was nt swept following day

Liked the location , goid room size and the balcony made our stay a lot more comfortable in 30° weather.

No A/C and the tv didnt work. Sellotape holding tv cables together which we hanging from the wall. I advised the employees on the first night of a four night stay - the employee informed me each day that the tv would be fixed....still waiting...!

Not all reception members were super friendly and to ask for 154 euros for an extra night is beyond... Something. Internet not always working. Not for people with little mobility.
