The bedding way cozy, there was a fridge and good location.

I know Amsterdam is expensive, but I would recommend this place only if you look for a cheap, well located place and you do not need warm water at the shower, you are not this time oversensitive to a really basic standard. If you look for style, and comfort, not this time

Place is 30 minutes walk from city center and its necessary to take ferry. Place is really cold and heater is not working and cleanliness not good

For the price you pay, you expect to have something not luxurious, but this place was quite upsetting. There were not even beed sheets!

The checkin process was a bit odd - had to wait at the door for a while, and the reception was in a pizza store, which felt weird. The walls and the ceiling in the room were dirty, and there was no wifi.

Fairly good location - close to the train station, reachable by metro and a short walk. If you want to avoid hostels, I think it's a decent choice, but don't expect great conditions.

The owner was not on site when we came to the place. After 3 calls he decides to show up, and didn't know how many of us were coming or how long we were staying. The guy was passive aggressive toward us, and really not the good kind of customer service. Not much of an english speaker. The room was "clean" but had some easy to see flaws. For example the duvets were old and probably not washed, the bathroom is cleaned probably once in 2 weeks and same with the toilet. Not the cleanest place but can be lived with when most of the days are spent downtown. Definetly recommend a cocoon or a set of own sleeping gear. All of the other reviews are true.

Inside the building was fairly clean and very basic, I would suggest putting a tv in the room and updating the shower area, as it more just wet room you would find in a public toilet. But for the price it is reasonable.

The whole place is falling to pieces ....the shower and toilet are horrific...and the room was not much better ...calling it a guest house is something that it isn't, more like a glorified hostel..

The place is disgusting! Everything is dirty: the building, the reception, the location... Even taking a shower gave me a ripugnant feeling. Luckily for me, i spent only one night. Coming here to save money, it is not worth.

The owner is super kind. Price is very cheap.

-The towels don’t look like they were rented for 2.5 but they were stained. -no kitchen. -there is no reception, we couldn’t leave our bags upon arrival (in practice, in other hostels you can leave your bags and go on a walk). -shared shower for men and women, transparent doors, 3 cabins and 2 toilets for 2 floors

+20 minutes and you are in the center. +clean room. +warm in the room. + cheep

The property was disgustingly dirty. The build up of mould in the bathroom and the dirty brown pillow case made a very uncomfortable stay. I would never stay again.

Arrived 1.5 hours before check-in time and wanted to store our luggage in luggage room. Were offered to pay an extra 20€ although we had a room for that day. When we refused check-in was somehow still possible. Room was ok but didn’t have a proper blanket and had quite a few deficits (broken floor, water damage on ceiling, dirty walls) Bathroom dirty and quite disgusting. Toilet was very small.

We didn’t expect to have a fridge.
