Unbelievably loud hotel. Thunderous door slams all night, echoing metal stairs from the courtyard, could hear other people's toilet flushes through the walls. Speaking of toilets: the one in my room had no lid. How incredibly unhygienic is that? Every time you flush, toilet spray goes all over the bathroom. Shower curtain was also too short, making it impossible to keep water off the floor.

Bed was reasonably comfortable, and there was a fan in the room for some cooling and white noise.

Be careful if you book a room with a bed on the upper floor, it's easy to let something fall down

The building is very nice and warm. Everything works fine and you can access everything through the use of a digital key. The cleaning service was very flexible and nice, usually refilling the missing items in the room. The wifi was extremely fast and the heating system was functional.

For my personal taste the mattresses are by far too soft. I am sure however, that they are very new. So it is just a question of personal preferences. Above I found the price of 75 Euro for this type of accommodation quite high. However the price level in Groningen in genereal seems to be very high.

The rooms are located in a cultural/arts complex on an ancient factory ground. Accordingly they have an attratactive industrial Bauhaus like style and each of them seems to be designed/decorated by a different artist. Nice, fancy light system with changing colours. Breakfast option in a café downstairs at reasonable price. Easy going check-in with very friendly staff.

Exceptional rooms: each one of them is different. Nice courtyard and communal area. Clean rooms with fast WiFi connection. Very close to Noorderplantsoen park and only a few minutes from the city center.

Wonderful staff and extremely careful daily room service/cleaning. Easy check-in via phone. I had to check in a bit after 22.00 hrs due to a large train delay, but it was made possible. Exceptional are the unique room designs.

The room was very tiny but comfortable nevertheless. the bathroom door does not close easily unless really pushed from outside. The sound insulation is pretty bad so we were woken by sound of construction and delivery vehicles from outside.

Amazing place, with all you might need. Very helpful stuff, always supportive: with check-in, prearrangements, gave me an umbrella to use during my stay:) I absolutely loved this place. You get the best from a private room + common facilities (fridge, kitchen, common area). A coffee machine in each room is a big plus.

The staff was nice and kind. The room was very clean, nice, and cozy. The room was cleaned every day, and the towels were fresh. We had a coffee maker in the room, and we had a fridge and a small kitchenette at our disposal, which was very practical. We really like the accommodation, and we will probably choose that hotel again when we come to Groningen.

The room has windows against the wall of another building, it was a bit dark.

It was a nice design hotel which was close to everywhere. I'd definitely recommend staying there.

To have less design furniture in the room!

We needed accommodation within a 1 km radius of the center at a reasonable price. We got it. The parking garage was next door. Next time we will stay in the same design hotel, in a different room.
