We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Good location for walking city. Check-in is thru restaurant below, so somewhat confusing trying to find the right person who manages lodging. NO bike storage available (lock bikes out on the pedestrian walk and hope for the best, though we had no issues). Breakfast was pretty good.

NetherlandsThe hallway and landing leading to the rooms could do with a bit of attention. The bathroom was clean but could do with updating, particularly the shower.
The brasserie itself seemed very nice and the breakfast was excellent. It was closed, however, in the evening because of the fair on the square outside. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The location on the square was good and as the rooms are all at the back we weren't disturbed by the fair.

The staff told us yes, but charged us for early check-in without informing us about a hidden fee (22,50) for this. In addition, while booking this room we requested information about late check-out but we never confirmed this. Still they charged us for late check-out, even though we check-outed before 10am..
