We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumNot the fault of the staff, but some other guests were a nuisance, like shouting and arguing on the stairs after midnight - and another couple at around 3am... due to poor sound isolation, you are forced to listen to it all... earplugs were no help at all.
Very clean, great location (easy access to public transport, clise to the beach, in a quiet side street).

BulgariaThe first communication was done in Dutch which was not ideal since our party had limited knowledge of Dutch. Would be highly appreciated if it can be available in English as well. Later when we had to receive the key, we got the message in English, which was appreciated.
The location was amazing, less than 10 minutes from Kurhaus tram stop and the Boulevard. Additionally, supermarkets and shops were available in less than 200m. The room was nicely furnished and although on the smaller side, functunal and clean. The key feature was super accessible and really easy to figure out. Lastly in the case you needed additional toiletries or towels, thet were readily available at the grand floor.

SlovakiaYou get electronic keys that you use with your phone. You don’t get any physical keys. The reception is closed and we didn’t see any staff at the hotel. Personally, I didn’t like that. The water was not draining well from the sink and there was a bit of mold between the tiles in the shower. The walls are very thin and you can hear people in the other rooms. On our second night there was a loud person in the next room who walk us up.
The main advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the beach. The bed was comfortable. The room was very small but it was enough for us.

Egypt- The sound of seagulls all night. - the fact that reception and all hotel staff leave at 4PM.
-The staff was really cooperative, flexible and friendly. -The light was enough in the room that it feel small. - the proximity to the bus stop. And relative proximity to the beach. - proximity to the budget thai restaurant, to the supermarket and the laundry. -I liked the coffee machine in the morning.

PortugalIt's not sound proof, so we had a problem with the people staying in the upper floor. We could sleep until 4am because of the noise. That was really inconvenient because we're travelling with kids and we had an important meeting the next day.
The localisation is great and the room is beautiful, clean, comfy. Maybe it would be a problem if we didn't had battery on the phone, because we have an online key.

BelgiumWell, if you book much earlier than I did, the choice in Scheveningen is huge. I just didn't have much choice left.
It is very strange not to have ANY staff around. But one gets used to it. It is a little bit noisy; residents slam their doors and you can hear through the ceilings. Parking is really an issue. The room was not very big; had a couple been there, it would have been tight.
