We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe bed was not that comfortable, one side was ok, and the other was very hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom smelled like people go in there to smoke, so very heavy smell of smoke. They did have an escalating fand so we could air it out.

CanadaIt would have been nice to have had a personal greeting and explanation of where and when the breakfast was, wifi info etc. The automated check in and check out works well but nothing beats a personal connection.
The room was perfect for the two of us, we enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning and evenings. Breakfast was excellent, a wonderful selection of delicious food, good coffee and a lovely dining room.

NetherlandsOur room had "Interconnected room(s) available" as one characteristic which caused horrible soundproofing. There was a locked door in our room separating us from the room next door. We could hear the people next door very clearly and they were talking already at 5 am... The cups provided in the room were all single-use.
The location and breakfast were nice. We had one Twin Room with Water View which was compact and came with everything we needed. I am mostly happy with the value of this price.

FinlandThe bath room and cleaning facilities were unpractical and poorly equipped. Water from the shower got all over the place. The sink was in the room and without any hook for the towel. Water was spilled to the table also by the sink but there was no wipe. The coffee machine did not work. The cleaning personnel gave us kindly extra capsules and tried to help us with the coffee machine, but we still did not succeed in cooking coffee. Steps to the room on the second floor were steep.
The room was cozy. Breakfast was good. Surrounding were nice. The location was good.

SwedenFelt deceived by what was advertised on booking.com as a ''twin room with river view'. This is only true for rooms on the ground floor if you are tall enough to see over the fixed privacy screens, or if you open the doors (not an option in chilly weather)
Very comfortable hotel room with 2 chairs to relax in. Easy self check-in. Nice breakfast (the warm brown seed top bread was absolutely delicious). There was plenty of room in the free P1 (green) carpark next to the hotel. Can see hotel from this carpark, and also a good supermarket. From the back of the hotel, can walk along the canal to the Binnepad.

SwedenThe initial effort to find the allotted room was a bit confusing, which would be easier if the room information are mentioned at one place. The allotted room was from an outside stairs and not within the hotel stairs, hence it was mentioned separately, which we did not notice easily, although it is mentioned somewhere in the reception and can be found with a bit of looking around :)
The hotel was good, easy to access the room without need to visit any service desk. The hotel had some good parking space available on site and in big parking lot behind it. The location is prime, as it is next to the Giethoorn canal and walking distance to the prime beautiful spots in Giethoorn (e.g. Giethoorn Canal, Museums, etcs.) The included breakfast was also nice and had good options.

DenmarkThere was no shelf in the bathroom for toiletry bags and there was not a reception. There was not much (if any) information in English about the area and attraction and there were no welcome map in the room, so we could see breakfast time, number to doctor, opening hours for the supermarket and other informations.
We loved the location (right in front of the canal). The breakfast buffet was delicious). The "breakfast lady" was very friendly.
