The carpets were full of stains. The pool lockers were rusty and you only get a small towel - no bathrobe not slippers

Rooms should be more clean especially bathrooms. They smell bad. i recommend tto maintain them propely. Other than that all good

The steak in the restaurant was inedible as a result of which my husband almost suffocated - he could not breathe because the indigestible meat got stuck in his trout . He fell to the ground and could not breathe, Luckily , of as a result of the fall , the meat fell out, and the man survived. We had to leave restaurant , because of this accident. we did not finish our meals of course. May husband felt bad , I had to look after him. We are very upset about the attitude of the restaurant staff un reception. The did not apologize . I told his story also to the reception. The lady asked how can she help, when I said how....there was absolutely no reaction. We had to pay for all meal , what we did not finish because of bad quality of meat . Only the stake was removed from the bill. We are very disappointed with this attitude.

The staff was super friendly and true to hospitality that a leasure stay is meant to offer. That heated pool was definitely an add on to the ambience of nature and soulful bliss. Would love to book again whenever I need a for a quite time away within a couple of hour's drive.

The parking wasn't lit, so trying to park at night when it's raining was really difficult. The rooms are just a bit...1990's. Ikea furniture, exposed pipes, drafty doors, largely just uninspiring. It's not the kind of place where you say "the room was lovely", it was a place to sleep and that's about it. The restaurant appeared to be short staffed, and whilst the staff were lovely, they were just busy rushing around covering the restaurant and the bar. The breakfast was just bad. Possibly tied to being short staffed, but at no point were all of the hot food options available at the same time, so you'd have bacon and it's own, then scrabbled eggs would come out, 10 minutes later the pancakes, but by then the bacon and eggs were gone. And the coffee from the automated machine was just terrible, I couldn't want to brush my teeth afterwards it was that bad.

The beds were comfortable and the TV had Ziggo Sport. Also, the coffee machines in the rooms are pretty good (knock off Nespresso).

The room lacks some basic requirements, like a fridge or water heater. We mainly booked this hotel because of its indoor swimming pool, but the whole afternoon there was swimming classes for kids in the pool. It was not a pleasent experience at all for us, and I don't even know if it is legal to have swimming classes in such a place. They didn't even informed us on this and the timing of it. There was no facility around the hotel, and the only tennis court was closed. Restaurant food was not with a good quality also. The only thing we get from room service was a set of towel in front of door in a bag.

The hotel was located in a nice location. Our room also was spacious enough for a small family.

But the staff specially the restaurant staff was not very friendly and polite. They did not attended properly. They did not even serve what we ordered. Food serving tome was almost one hour. I would not suggest restaurant for dinner because after a long day of sightseeing we expect Good quick food and quick serving

We stayed in the hotel only for one night and that was enough for us. The hotel is very old. The carpet in the room is dirty, there is horrible smell in the bathroom. The swimming pool is old and rusty. We decided to have a dinner in the restaurant: ordered two “chef’s specials” burgers and spaghetti for our daughter. We were waiting for spaghetti for 45 minutes, when the waiter came she put the cutlery to a dirty table without any napkin. Afterwards, we were waiting for our burgers (in general) for 1 hour. When We received them, they were extremely cold. We asked the waiter to warm them. We waited 20 minutes and still didn’t receive our dinner. We decided not to wait and go to a normal restaurant. This quality of service is quite weird because the hotem doesn’t let you order food to a room from other restaurants.

The hotel is situated in a nice area: there is a beautiful forest where you can walk.

Rude check in staff. Rooms tidy but desperately needed updating. No Airco, furniture old, wet towel came off the carpet dirty. Dinner cost 100 euros for 2, with a main course that featured a basic soup for starter a burger with the tomato core in it for main, and ice cream for dessert. Checking the breakfast buffet the next day the tomatoes were the same. In covid times why would you keep the outdoor seating shut on the restaurant, Not close to Giethoorn.

Excellent hotel located in a beautiful green quiet area, surrounded by trees. We really liked out room as it had a lovely balcony and it was spacious Personnel was friendly and helpful. The hotel has got a beautiful terrace where it is possible to have breakfast as well when the weather allows it. We had a very pleasant stay!

The transportation from Steenwijk station to bus stop near the hotel. There was not much option available and taxi cost was high.

A place near to nature. After checkout, When I was walking back to bus station, the whole path was amazing. I felt like I was missing this kind of place for a very long time. After a long time connecting with nature was good.
