We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsOur room was made for the elderly or people in wheelchairs. Therefore the bathroom was one big empty room, practical but did not feel nice or fancy. The grouts could have been cleaner. It needs some tlc. The room was a bit dated compared to the downstairs but all worked and the bed was nice.
Easy, free, off road parking. Nice looking entry. The downstairs of the building has been renovated and is modern looking, good vibes. Fresh breakfast with some breads, yoghurt, fruit, 2 style eggs, fresh tea and different kinds of coffee. It all looked great and tasted even better. The restaurant serves classy and tasty food.

NetherlandsWe had a hughe bathroom (suitable for wheelchair use), but the actual shower area of it was quite small. Also, since the bathroom was made for people sitting down, the actual sink and mirror were quite low for a person standing up. There was no stool to sit down in front of the mirror, so shaving proved difficult.
Breakfast was standard, but fine. A nice touch was, that we could have it on the terrace.

We slept in a very large double room, which was very clean. There was also a kettle to make tea. It was easy to reach the room using the lift. The people at the reception were very friendly. At breakfast it was possible to get a variety of coffees and of teas, and even to prepare a herbal tea with mint, cinnamon, anis... to put directly in the cup

We were able to store our 4 bikes safely. The staff in this convenient hotel were fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean but basic. They did the job perfectly. The dining room was wonderful with colour and character. Our supper that night was fantastic and cooked by a young and obviously talented chef.. Our waitress was terrific, efficient and fun. A perfect overnight stop for 4 tired cyclists.

GermanyTo write here what could have been better, after a hotel suffered from lockdowns during two years, would be a terrible thing to do. There was nothing wrong that can't be overcome. I communicate such issues directly with the hotel.
The room was nice and spacey, and the staff was really helpful. I was worried about transportation from the hotel to the location I was supposed to visit. Taxis in The Netherlands are costly. They asked me where it was I had to go to and then offered me the use of one of the hotel bicycles. Wonderful!
