For a modern/contemporary hotel, not having USB charging points in the room is not great; many travelers come from outside continental Europe and rely on USB ports (rather than clunky adapter plugs) to charge phones &c. Sills between heritage floors in the room entrance and updated surfaces are a bit of a tripping hazard; not very suitable for people with vision or mobility issues. Nespresso machines with plastic capsules not very environmentally friendly.

Stylistically interesting heritage building adapted to hotel use. Our room, somewhat Spartan but comfortable, looked out over a courtyard-like environment (quiet while in the heart of the city) and had lovely large windows and high ceilings. The location in the heart of town puts you within very easy walking distance of major points of interest (i.e. historic Government Centre, museums), shopping and dining. Soap/shampoo dispensers rather than the tiny bottles/tubes - less waste and packaging.

Although the staff was really friendly, there was one rather nervous supervisor type of guy, that wasn't very nice to the other employees. Not sure what exactly it was about because they were whispering, just some bad vibes, while we were having an otherwise nice breakfast. In these times of employee shortage, it would be in the management's interest to treat their staff more respectfully.

Fantastic historical building by Berlage, not your typical Ibis, which i mean is positive! Super central location. Late checkout at noon, should be like that everywhere!

We asked for parking and did not receive information on a timely basis. The parking was at a garage where you had to have a reservation. Our credit card wouldn't work so the gentleman checking us in at the hotel used his personal credit card.

Tv remote didn’t quite work for apps or casting. Hard beds. Noisy outside at night/mornings but free earplugs were nice

The hotel is very easy to access and the rooms are comfortable (but small), bright and clean. There was also free coffee and tea all day which was lovely.

I was given a disabled bathroom room. And it's such a shame, mainly for people with disabilities, that no effort is made to make the room more hotel like and less institutional. It was cold, functional and a bit depressing.

The old building of the hotel is really beautiful and very well located in the city center. The bedroom was spacious.

The breakfast was rather uninspiring, especially for a week’s stay. Also, I would have liked to have had a comfortable chair in my room seeing as I am well into my seventies.

I asked for a printed invoice at check-in, and was told it would be available (by e-mail and also printed out) at check-out; that turned out to be impossible for some reason. The invoice was indeed sent by email, but as a result of the management system it shows a final balance of 0 (meaning of course I paid for the room - but making very hard reimbursement procedures). It was apparently not possible to get another statement. A previously friendly staff became stiff and unhelpful. I recommend another option to anyone travelling for work and needing a more traditional invoice, one of the kind offices still unfortunately ask us for. Wifi was slow; I used my own data roaming.

Very nice hotel in the city centre, in a quiet area. My room looked freshly renovated and was large enough, cosy and spotless. Plastic free. Heating can be switched on and off. Perhaps not enough privacy for sharing a room (shower cabinet is within the room), but perfect for a single traveller. Good selection of options for breakfast.

Friendly and courteous reception. Pleasant atmosphere in the hotel foyer thanks to the brick facades in the stairwell. Despite the central location, the room is completely quiet and has a nice view to the centre. Classic furniture in Scandinavian style.

The room was frankly small. Thankfully I did not have lugagge, I'd be hard pressed tio find a spot for it. No minifridge either.

The location is unbeatable. The hotel is small but functional and has more than a touch of personality that makes it interesting. While the building is ancient, the rooms are modern.

Seemed to hear a lot of noise from the corridor, walls seemed quite thin. Would have been nice for the bedding itself to be changed rather than just made for us seeing as we stayed for 4 nights No kettle in our room, had to go down to reception for tea/coffee

Bed super comfy, room was cleaned daily. Staff were very polite and helpful.
