Unfortunately the bed was so hard and it was really hot only had a fan also I really would have liked a little fridge in the room..

The only drawback was 20 stairs to reach Reception and a further 18 stairs to our room. No lift, but the manager helped us with our luggage.

Good directions to hotel. Attractive, spacious room with convenient hanging and storage places, room well-lit and a nice view outside. Very comfortable bed. Easy access to trams and lots of food/drink nearby.

I was there for King's Day, I got injured the previous day and couldn't walk. There was no way to notify reception. There was no 24 hour desk, being 8am to 8pm. It's a.small point but if there are people with mobility issues then it may not be the place for them. Apart from that nice place

It's located in a very popular area, ideally near a very reliable tram network and if you feel like a walk then the majority of tourist attractions aren't that too far away. There are lots of bars and restaurants.

It could do with some renovation works as the rooms are pretty old, but I guess it adds to the charm! Unless you want a modern style scandinavian type hotel, this one will definitely make your stay in Amsterdam a charming stay!

maybe a coffee in the shared kitchen would be nice, and a hair dryer might be included in the rooms.

The staff was very kind and helpful and the hotel is in a lively location. You can go everywhere by walking.

Hotel is a little old, but acceptable for the price. As such, lack of ventilation caused our room to be a little musty. Not a big problem but certainly not modern amenities.

Great location with access to local transportation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants right downstairs.

We had a very pleasant, comfortable, and clean room, and everything worked well. The staff was pleasant. It's a small and simple hotel, and you need to be able to walk with your bags up flights of stairs, and there are active bars outside, but I think the price reflects all of that. The person at the desk directed us to an excellent place nearby for a coffee and pastry in the morning as well as other fine restaurant suggestions that were an easy walk.

Clean, comfortable, great bathroom/shower--hosts were super (treated us like friends). Restaurants/bars are right out the front door on the square and around the corner on a larger square --Rembrandtplein. The location allowed us to walk everywhere--no need for public transportation.

Not a dislike, just a caution, which the hotel also makes clear in their communications, there are some steep stairs to get up and down, so may not be suitable for all.

Great location. I imagine it can get quite noisy during peak times, however we did just fine, even with the annual dance festival being in town. Lovely spacious room and decent sized bathroom.

The location is in a busy area so expect a bit of noise until late hours in the night.

I really liked my stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. Everything from sites, restaurants, and supermarkets were nearby and can be reached easily. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. I would stay there again

The location is super central, but its right above a few loud bars that go late into the night... so if you're a light sleeper this might not be for you. We couldn't leave windows open at night because there was too much ruckus from below. We were also on the third floor, and WIFI was virtually nonexistent during our stay- which was frustrating since we didn't have a SIM on this trip.

Super central location with access to a lot of what Amsterdam has to offer including museums and public transportation. Room was clean and fairly spacious for a couple. Easy to get in/ out out of the property, very pleasant staff.

Me and mine husband we were 4 night , the Hotel was very tidy, in nice area , everything is close to you, centre,restaurants and bars . Thank you it was enjoyable holiday. 🙂

Could have done with more storage for clothes. Our room was a little tired and in need of some redecoration. The stairs are quite steep - no lift - so may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. The safe could be picked up and walked away with.

Friendly and very helpful staff. The location is brilliant. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. A good and large enough bathroom.
