Good location, beds and room were small but we knew that when booking... get what you pay for! We all left happy

We knew going in that it would be a small room, considering it is in a boat. But it was still a bit smaller than expected. Especially the bottom bunks are quite limited in terms of movement. Would not recommend to people who are claustrophobic.

The place was really close to the centre of the city, and on the sea. It was really nice to wake up on water, watching the birds. The lady who made us breakfast was really sweet, breakfast itself was quite good, and we could leave our luggage there for a while after checkout and before checkin.

The 4 people rooms are a bit small, but well, it is a boat.

The hostel is very expensive for a little cabin. But this is the case for every hostel in Amsterdam: the city increased the hostel prices to decrease the number of tourists.

Tommy was very kind ans helpful, it was a pleasure to discuss with him everyday and he has good advises and addresses to visit. The boat is clean and well placed. You will appreciate your coffee time on the boat's bridge with the sun 🙂.

It was a great place to stay, the bower was great and the rooms warm. maybe a bit tight for some people but my friends and I managed happily.

Great access to the city centre, close to centraal station. Good breakfast and the lady looking after us was very friendly.

Movement of guests boarding the boat late at night was audible, and one guest made a bit of noise by this was quickly cleared up by Tommy. The cabin was small, but I had a full-sized suitcase and two other bags. However I knew this coming in. If I had a large backpack it would have been perfect. I am 5'8" but I would imagine the beds might be a bit short for people 6'2" and up.

The room was a boat cabin, and as expected, it was very small. The captain/host "Tommy" was very friendly, very helpful and was generally available to attend to my needs. He worked with me to make my stay flexible, comfortable and the slightly unusual establishment met my needs of cleanliness, security and extremely good value for money. It's central, within walking distance of many of the major tourist attractions and importantly, near the central station. The central "galley"/dining hall/kitchen was surprisingly homely and there are all kinds of games and books in different languages to spend a rainy day. Showers and Toilets were rudimentary, but spotlessly clean. There was a wonderful, outdoor deck with chairs and a table to share a sunny day - must be wonderful on a cruise.

It's good to have earpluggs with you because you can hear if another guest is for example snoring.

The hostel has a great location - you can just walk everywhere. Staff was also super friendly and welcoming.

Noise from other guests is quite loud. The water where the boat is located is very polluted.

Tommy´s Breakfirst saved my live multiple times. I recommend to ask for the "Tommy Special". I was very suprised by the comfy and familiar vibe they are able to create on the boat.
