One male staff member at the guest services desk was very inflexible. He refused to change our room type and made us wait for several hours when we told him we would accept other room types. The room types listed on Booking.com said “double” or two single beds. In the US, double means a small bed. I told this staff member that we were fine with a king bed but he refused to change our room type. He must have gone to lunch and a woman at the guest services desk was very accommodating, understood about the miscommunication of what a “double” meant, and immediately gave us a room with a king bed ( what the male employee refused to do). He needs some retraining in customer service.

All except for 1 staff member, the hotel staff were excellent. Our room was clean, modern and well appointed. We had a great view from our balcony room.

The bathroom light was on a sensor so came on if you opened the door but didn’t go off for 20 minutes which was annoying if you got up during the night.

comfortable rooms, close enough to the city centre but no real need to even leave the hotel. 12pm checkout so it’s not rushed, the room was ready for me when i went earlier to drop off my luggage so that was great. friendly and helpful staff, nice restaurant. i ordered mee goreng with chicken and it was delicious!

Amazing hotel, great breakfast. We had a room on the top floor with a nice view with huge and comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast and restaurant. The hotel is very stylish and would highly recommend. Stunning indoor garden. Good connection to the city center.

The room was very dark and although you could open the windows during the day, it didn’t have a see-through curtain, so people could see you if you had the blockout curtains opened. Could do with extra lighting.

The breakfast was very good. The hotel had natural timber look and an amazing greenery. The staff were very friendly and very obliging. The room was quite spacious and I liked the separate shower and toilet.

My wife and I want to express our sincerest and heartfelt thank you to all of the hotel staff that we came in contact with including but not limited to Tess, Lima, Chantal’s, Sinl, Ayla and Noha and the young lady that checked us in Sunday. I trust the spelling is correct. I wish I had everyone’s name to give them a shout out. Don’t forget the bartender and Polish lad at 8th floor bar. We checked out this morning. Your staff should be commended for their professional customer service attitudes. No one ever says no we can’t to it. They will say I don’t know but I will check with my colleagues and return with an answer. Someone worked with my wife on our first full day morning Monday I think for a long time to educate her on site seeing activities, public transportation access, and a general overview of the Amsterdam area. We observed how everyone pitches in, multitasking to do whatever is necessary to enhance and maximize the guest experience. When I asked for directions to the nearest post office to mail a package home, Tess told us about the package mailing service offered by the hotel that saved us a trip to the post office and added the charges to our bill. It’s extremely refreshing to receive this level of service today. So, we stand up and cheer, clap our hands and holler thank you for making our stay wonderful and memorable. Please share with the entire staff. It’s clear as day you select highly motivated professionals and train them well as I said before to maximize the guest experience.

bad WiFi. very bad. no speed at all. It is not possible to watch YouTube. and also in the toilet there is a light that goes off every second or two. what brings inconvenience from visiting this room😂😂 also repair the water pressure. he is very weak. It is not possible to use both the sink and the shower at the same time.

Nothing - this hotel is fabulous, I'd definitely stay again.

This hotel is AMAZING - easily the best hotel I've ever stayed in! It's design is so unique. The rooms are so tastefully decorated, very spacious and so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, so delicious and lots of choices. The reception team are extremely helpful and friendly - especially a lady called Putri (apologies if I've spelt that wrong). Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Beautiful hotel and although a little bit out of the city centre it was lovely to be out of the high tourist area. Very close to public transport. The breakfast was very good and the bakery they have onsite is amazing.
