The bed was not comfortable, There were some broken tiles in the bathroom, The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower curtain to shower in. Overall the room seemed outdated.

The free Nespresso coffee making facilities were a nice surprise. The staff was friendly.

Sauna was stated as required with swimming dress. So plan was to get there with kids, however visitors don't bother to follow the rules, probably as they were not informed during check in

On Saturday it was very noisy outside at 3 at night. That was similar to another weekend I stayed at this hotel. And considerign the location of the hotel that is a bit weird.

Diner is good, limited choices though still for sure different ones. Breakfast is ok, was missing some fish but fair amount of choices in particular with regards to bread.

Room: First room suffered from outdoor noise from hotel fans/air conditioners elsewhere in the building. Mobile AC unit in room was bulky and fed out through a hole in the door; it was too noisy to have running full time. Doors opened onto balcony but then noise from other fans or ACs around the building intruded. The Wellness and Fitness Areas were very poor: the Spa Baths were both out of order (for the whole of my four day stay) as was the Hamman Sauna. No towels were provided in the Spa and no access to drinking water. The toilet inside the Spa area didn't have a wash basin to wash hands - very unhygienic. The Cross Trainer machine was out of order for the whole of my stay (one out of four machines - cycle and walking - available). The Free Weights selection was limited and there was no chair or bench to use when using the weight. There was no staff or supervision in the Fitness Centre or the Spa and Swimming Pool. Breakfast: A fair selection of items available, but no freshly cooked eggs just pre prepared Scrambled Eggs. Rather worryingly I watched a member of staff restocking the tray of cheese slices - he handled the remaining cheese slices from the tray he was removing to add them to the new full tray - with bare hands, no gloves on and no attempt to use tongs or similar (and he was not a trainee). One minute he is clearing away dirty plates and going to and fro to the kitchen and other areas and the next he is handling food directly. Not good.

Staff were very helpful and polite. Food and drink were fine - though note that the Michelin Star restaurant is only open for two to three nights per week.

Gluten free options for breakfast poor. However staff at reception apologised and discounted the breakfast charges.

I don't understand the pricing: when I booked the room, it was priced by occupants, but when the number of occupants reduced, that had no impact on the price whatsoever. Plus, I ended up paying more than what booking.com had said in the reservation & instead of giving me a cot for free, they tried to charge me for that too. Overall, I feel they are taking advantage of people....so with alternatives available I would likely book somewhere else next time.

Some of the staff was quite friendly, but it was hit or miss: the lady at the reception on the first morning basically watched me navigating down the stairs with a stroller, a toddler on my hand and a baby strapped to my back....the lady on the second day at least offered to help with the toddler. The location is picturesque, and it was nice and quiet overnight.

We paid 180 euros for one night in the hotel. The facilities and service offered did not match the price. We asked for room service that never arrived, the breakfast is as simple as a small (and cheaper) hotel cafe.

As we arrived late and had to leave early, we didn't get to enjoy the facilities and, perhaps more importantly, the breakfast.

It was a lovely clean hotel, ideally located to visit Arnhem and surrounding areas, with friendly staff, couldn't ask for more.
