Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyThe staff of the restaurant located in the hotel seemed to be quiet untrained, lacking skills and ambition. Therefore taking breakfast there was time consuming and no fun. The quality of drinks and food served though was quite nice.
La Paulowna is a beautiful little hotel in the center heart of Den Hague. The Anna Paulowna Plein, where it is situated, is vibrant and lively with some nice wine bars and an really excellent restaurant just next door. And although many people enjoyed sitting outside having drinks and food all over the day, during night time it was absolutely quiet. We liked the neighbourhood, the excellent location with the Tram Line 1 in walking distance, which brings you to Delft City Center in the one direction as well as to Scheveningen beach in the other direction in just a few minutes. Overall the nicely equipped hotel is a strong recommendation for a weekend trip to Den Hague. If you come by car, make sure to arrange a parking spot in the area at best before arrival.

I loved my room! I was in room 101 and it was genuinely one of the most amazing hotel rooms that I have stayed in. it’s funky and original and clever. I arrived late but was met and I had odd request like a bicycle to get to my crossfit class! the bikes were great and we used them for the whole stay. I loved the breakfast - amazing mushroom omelette! I really really recommend this hotel- it will raise a work trip to feel like a break

Location provided a delightful suburban feel but it is adjacent to old city and all sights. A special word about the staff, superlative.

Great little boutique hotel on a charming square in the centre of the Hague. Our room had three large windows overlooking the cafés on the square. The room was in the annex across the street from the main check in area which has just one room on each floor, so they are very generously proportioned and feel very private. The bed was extremely comfortable, and in addition to the nespresso machine and air con, the electric black out and privacy blinds, the brilliant shower and good quality natural cosmetics were very nice touches.

We felt extremely welcome in this beautiful, small boutique hotel. The staff was super friendly and we were completely satisfied. Our room exceeded our expectations in terms of space, comfort and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. Especially the bathroom with its luxurious rain shower and the separate tub was a feelgood factor. At last, we also enjoyed delicious breakfast at the inhouse restaurant, which was hugely satisfying, also because one was able to choose from the menue instead of rushing to a buffet.
