I couldn't enjoy my stay more! It is a beautiful historical building but the interiors are very tastefully renovated. The bed is comfy and the breakfast very rich. The owners are very kind and helped me when I forgot my charger in the room. Thank you a lot and I am looking forward to my next stay here!

It's not that we didn't like it but I think it's worth mentioning: The B&B is in a village on a roundabout. Not in the country side. Windows closed (we didn't open them) it's totally quiet. Not much in the village but a restaurant very close. It's simple food but delicious one. I recommend the mixed grill plate with potatoes.

First I want to manage expectations. When I rate 10 it's because it goes over my expectations. It does NOT mean there will be a spa and sauna 😉 That's the case here. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The building by itself is beautiful. There's a big garden. You can park car, motorcycle and bikes inside the property. Breakfast was one of the best ever.

This is a lovely BnB and one of the nicest we stayed at during our trip across Normandy, Belgium and The Netherlands. Breakfast was excellent and served in their lovely dining room. We were just passing through, but this area is very nice and Bakel is a quaint small town. Our hosts even had a bottle of wine for us in the refrigerator - what a wonderful surprise!

Unfortunetly, we only stayed there one night but had we stayed more a small computer desk would have been helpful.

Host was super nice. We enjoyed learning about the history of the house. We had 2 bedrooms and a sitting room. Huge shower. We were served a Royal breakfast in a beautiful room. My 10 year old picky eater found a lot to eat, from fresh bread, cheeses, eggs, ham etc to fresh pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, fresh orange juice to cereal and yoghurt. You will even find crossiants with a choice of jams, honey and nutella. Lovely gardens and relaxing area. The house is really quiet and helps you to relax.

Everything, the property is amazing and the owners went above and beyond. The room was very spacious with lovely touches (free wine, chocolates etc). The breakfast was massive and varied. We had an issue with our car and the owners drove us to our appointment and sorted out our car - amazing service, thank you!!

A very special place to stay. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is perfect, very complete and we could eat our takeaway dinner in the breakfast room, where the table was set including a beer and water. Also the bed is super comfortable.
