the only negative point is the TV in the room that does not work due to extremely bad reception.

the hotel is a beautiful old building with of timber used for walls and decoration. i was my wife's birthday and the staff really went out of their way to do something special for her. atmosphere is fantastic and the food is very good.

I haven’t noticed a hair dryer in the room (however I haven’t asked the staff, maybe there is one available). There is no lift (I think) and the stairs are quite steep. That wasn’t a problem to us, but its something to be aware of.

The hotel in lovely surroundings in the middle of the woods. Peaceful, a place to relax. All the staff really welcoming and friendly. Kids corner in the restaurant and a playground outside were also a bonus. Very nice menu at the restaurant. Good size family room.

Not much room to move. There was a huge wooden hay fork above the bed, on a shelf. I personally found it weird to sleep under a sharp object above me. The room keys don't feel very secure, they look like the keys you use in doors inside the house, the key is very loose and attached to a gigantic key chain that makes locking and unlocking the door a difficult task. I found the annoying TV noise of the neighbors the biggest issue. As long as they had it on, I couldn't go to sleep. Pray for a room with people that go to sleep as early as you do.

Location right in the middle of the forest. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were soft and comfy. Room was tiny and minimalistic, but still had the basic requirements like 1 shower gel and towels. And a lovely coffee corner outside the room, with also some snacks. Really nice elaborated breakfast with fresh warm bread. Natural birdsong alarm clock ;)

Sound proofing is an issue. The walls are paper thin, so don't expect privacy or peace and quiet. I ordered the three course menu but was charged a la carte for two courses because I skipped dessert. That's petty.

They charged me €20 per ONE dog per night - although I marked in my reservation I was coming with two dogs, they didn't let me know. So I payed ofc, but the staff didn't apologize for the misunderstanding. Also, to get into the rooms, there are steep stairs - not suitable for older or unsocialized dogs, not a negative, just someting to note;-)

An absolutely wonderful place to stay - great room, clean, cozy, great parking, wifi, food, right next to the woods, really really beautiful, staff was friendly, breakfast great (could get some veggies:)), they accept dogs, I would definitely come again!!! :-)

Given the architecture of the property it is difficult to imagine how they could improve without, say, create reasonable space by knocking two rooms into one. To do so would probably render the hotel part unviable.

Location: Very pleasant for those seeking countryside and space. Parking: plenty of free parking space available. Check-in: was very easy and staff showed us to our rooms. Rooms: Well, I guess you get what you pay for. They are tiny but they do have clean and recently furnished shower/toilet rooms. In summary, the accommodation is designed for budget travellers. The restaurant is very nice and rustic. Good ambiance, decor and food pretty good.
