The toiletries were quite basic only a shower gel/shampoo provided. I would have preferred to have hair conditioner, body moisturiser and soap.

The room was large and well furnished and the bed extremely comfortable. The room was clean and the tea and coffee making facilities were excellent. I even got a valentines day chocolate on my pillow! The bar staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Entrance parking with car. Could be explained in the confirmation letter before arrival. Room was very warm.

I didnt care for the bed being up stairs. I am not a fan of having to use stairs in the middle of the night. Getting to the hotel by car was very confusing. We were so close to the hotel but yet so far. Spent at least an hour trying to get to hotel. One major road that we needed was closed to cars. I am not aware that the hotel put in my information that we needed to park in the parking garage and how to get to the garage. Finally when we entered the parking garage it stated that it was full. Two other cars also had that issue and had to back up the ramp. 10 minutes late we saw that cars were getting thru to an almost empty garage. Very hard to get out of the parking lot with all the different closures you have to go thru. Even thou we paid for parking the night before, we had to call the front desk from garage the to open the gate. The driver had a good understanding of the Dutch language since living in the Netherlands for 17 years but still had a hard time with the parking and even the heat controls in the room.

The beds were comfortable. Didn’t get a chance to use the breakfast room.

The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. Very clean throughout, and the room had everything I needed. Local underground carpark is very convenient and very reasonably priced. The hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk to Sittard main square.

The cleaning could have been better and the elevator for a 4 star hotel seems rather lacking as it was only one for that since and it was the old kind, small and slow , if someone had a few luggage cases you would have to wait sometimes a while to get it.

The building it is very beautiful and the location is just fine, close to the small center and the room has a gorgeous view of the gardens.

We requested a second door key, which wasn't available at the moment we got there. After we had dinner and came back around 10 p.m. we got a second key. We also requested clean towels on the second day, and after asking multiple times they still hadn't been delivered. When we left in the afternoon we asked again and came back late in the evening we had clean towels in our room. The cart with towels was literally next to our door, but we felt like we shouldn't grab the towels by ourselves. The room itself was great, though there were quite a few damaged spots and marks on the walls. The shower door wasn't all the way to the floor so water ended up completely soaking the towel on the floor. And the elevator malfunctioned on the sixth floor, though after a few minutes the door miraculously opened out of nowhere. We continued our way to the seventh floor by stairs.

We loved the outside of the hotel and the scenery. It's very close to the city center and the building is gorgeous. The room was tidy, light and we had great air conditioning. The staff were friendly and clear, though they didn't always meet our requests.
