Lovely little friendly boutique hotel

Bedroom floor could have done with a sweep each day as due to work being carried out on the road/pavement sand was walked in to the rooms. Not nice to put your feet on when you get out of bed.

fROM THE SMILING RECEPRION TO THE SMILING GOODBYE THIS WAS A FABULOUS TWO NIGHT STAY. Perfectly located to exlpore the city on foot. Breakfast was simple and just right. Staff were a joy to talk to. Bedroom was spotless and a good size with a view of the canal. Bed linen was good quality and the pillows very comfy. Would definitely stay again

The ground floor room was right by the street (people and traffic sounds until quite late). The pillows were extraordinarily thick, which was uncomfortable for sleeping face down.

We arrived a bit early and the staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful, lots of variety and very good coffee. The location is convenient to restaurants and shops.

From the beginning, communication was excellent with the Staff. The hotel was easy to locate, and we were impressed right away with the "lobby" and kitchen area. Our room was beautiful and so comfy - we would have booked an extra night if we did not already have plane tickets booked to go back home!

There was quite a bit of noise from the street at night, but we used white noise to sleep and it was fine.

The staff was very friendly and the location was amazing. The city center and train station were just a short bike ride away. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. The view of the canal from the room was stunning. Also, we loved the bathtub in our room.

One of the most wonderful places I stayed. 8 rooms only, no hotel hustle, rather a feeling of staying at a private home with wonderful rooms, the best bed & the view on the canal. Loved it!

The only complaint I would have about the overall accommodation would be the breakfast. 1. the start at 8:00 is really long (at least 7:30 would not be out of place), 2. there are no buffet tables, but a few pieces of bread and something to spread (completely inadequate) 3. It is not even possible to choose juices, There is only orange fresh (this would be fine, but as an option and not as the only soft drink). 4. Do not look then for things like sausage, sausages, cereals - Simply the usual offer of European standard corresponding to the quality of this hotel.

The hotel is located a short walk from the centre and the train station. Everywhere can be reached on foot. Parking is also relatively easy, although the hotel doesn't offer private parking, there were always plenty of spaces. I liked the quiet environment of the family hotel, absolutely super comfortable bed and nice shower.

Really great small, independent hotel on southern edge of old town, and nothing was too much for the very friendly and helpful staff. Our comfortable room was light and airy and a good size, with a good bath/shower room, and was extremely quiet. Breakfast was excellent, served in the lovely ground floor rooms. Overall, a great recommendation for staying in Utrecht.
