The building/ room decor is nice but the window situation in rooms needs attention not only are the not sufficient for a hotel they are dangerous. Metal window frames that don’t work right there is little sealing on the windows. The amount of energy consumed to keep rooms warm must be a disgrace in this climate. We folded the curtains up into window ledge and used towels along the window to try block out the cold during the night as the long curtains were in front of the rad which made the room freezing.

This is my second time staying in this hotel the staff are amazingly lovely. I am sure their jobs can be challenging dealing with difficult situations arising from the building itself but they do their jobs professionally. I like the Art Deco vibe in the hotel.

The hotel messed up our booking, on arrival the booking was the opposite of what we requested. The receptionist tried to correct but at the time could not give us rooms on close together or even on the same floor. |Room door locks are operated by cards which became demagnetized frequently. We had to run run to the reception, queue if busy, to have them recoded 2 t o3 times a day.

Very conveniently located hotel in central Rotterdam, about 15 mins walk from the central train station. Shops, cafes, restaurants, public transport within short walk's reach. The rooms are clean and spacious with equally spacious bathrooms, the beds were very comfortable, but the hotel is old, showing it's age. However, there was a very well equipped gym. Breakfast was fabulous; spoilt for choice. Staff very very friendly and helpful, particularly breakfast room staff.

There is no bar which is strange for a big hotel in a city centre...just a vending machine ...not even a lounge area. The place is clean but feels like it needs to be refurbished...

We requested a low level floor, the rest was acknowledged based on availability. When we checked in we were offered a room on the 8th floor. When we raised our request they hadn’t anything in their system, but luckily they were able and happy to oblige and gave us a perfect room on the 1st floor.

In one of the rooms, the windows did not close properly. Unfortunately, there was no room available to change it. There was a bit of dust on one of the corner on the floor.

The location of the hotel is good, close to the city center. The rooms are overall fine. The breakfast was complete and worth the value paid.

It was so cold in the room despite fully turned on heaters. They were only two and it wasn’t enough for such a big apartment.

Very nice location, close to city center. Big room with 2 comfortable beds, chairs and sofa. Staff were very friendly and helpful despite that it was only one hotel of 6 where they asked IDs of all of us. We were pleasantly surprised by the Halloween decorations and sweets in the hotel lobby

Can't think of anything really. Be aware if staying here that the Coolsingel can be busy so if you are on that side of the building and want to let some fresh air in, there will be traffic noise if you open the window

The staff were very friendly and when I arrived early and asked if I could store my luggage until my check in time, I was informed that my room was ready and allowed me to check in early at no extra charge. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful, and the food was great. The location is perfect for central Rotterdam, especially when arriving by train. It was my second stay at NH Rotterdam. I didn't know quite what to expect because for my previous stay I was given a free room upgrade for an unknown reason, but I was very happy and I will definitely stay again

Hard to get to the breakfast as there is no direct lift leading to the restaurant. I understand it is an old building with many big stair cases. The housekeeping for room cleaning is at 4pm. We normally back to the room around 3:30pm after a day out. So it is no good that we have to go out and sit at the corridor while the room is being cleaned.

The location is excellent and within walking distance to most attractions. Room is big.

Uncomfortable bed (hard), TV with no any streaming options and no possibility to share from your phone. Room relatively small. Noise from the street (my room was on the Coolsingel side)

The hotel is extremely pet friendly (they also give you a toy and a treat for your dog) but the fact that dogs can’t enter the breakfast room is inconvenient. We had to leave her in the room as the other option (to eat outside the room and carry our plates back and forth form the breakfast room) wasn’t ideal.

Great location (right in the city centre) and easy parking right next to the hotel. The reception lady that checked us in was super friendly and helpful(don’t know the name). She also got us a plate and a cup for our little dog as we forgot ours. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. The view from the 7th floor was also nice
