The bathtub was slippery and the "striped" were smooth and not rough so easy to fall. I had to put a towel on the floor of the tup to make sure I would not slip. The front desk by phone told me there would be a shuttle to take me to Schiphol airport. Upon arrival I was told that was not true (only NH Noord has that option). I had to pay 50 euro for cab to airport with my heavy suitcase.

Buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied but too much for me (70 years of age) and would have liked the option of a simple breakfast at lower price. The do it yourself cold food was adequate but expensive. No fresh fruit although later I discovered some apples and oranges at the front desk. The do it yourself green option for coffee and food took some getting used to. I recommend a tray is left for disposing of dirty silverware an napkins. Staff very helpful in explaining things. I prefer to pay cash for small items and not hitting my credit card each time for a cup of coffee.

Had to wait to get fresh towels delivered to the room on the last day due to a shortage. Housekeeping could be more attentive as hand soap and shower gel weren’t restocked.

The room.showed some signs of wear and tear The sink basin was cracked and the door to the ensuite had a hole like someone punched it. The armchairs had marks like bleach in places. However, the room was spotless

Room was spacious and everything was very clean. Great location - quiet and within walking distance to the major museums. Close to tram stop too. Some nice cafes/brunch spots nearby. They left some chocolates out for us on my partner's birthday too which was a nice touch. Would recommend this hotel for a stay in Amsterdam.

The bed mattress was a bit too firm. The decor of the room is a bit dated and the bathroom was also quite dated. Also the online checkout didn’t work.

The room was a very good size and had a good view. The bed was also a good size. I liked having an online portal where I could order room service and other stuff. Also we didn’t hear anyone in the rooms next to us so good soundproofing.
