There is a night club nearby that you can hear the thumping music from at all hours of the night. It didn’t bother me much but my partner is a light sleeper so she didn’t like it.

Amazing location very near Rembrandtplein without being smack in the middle of everything. The room was a clean and nice space to relax in after a day of traipsing all over Amsterdam. They also offered to store our luggage before we checked-in so we could explore the city right when we arrived!

Very pokey area from room to room and lift. Can hear anyone coming out of the lift and rooms. Walls not well insulated from noise. I knew from previous reviews about the club next door, but having loud music playing until 2am on a Monday and Tuesday night was unacceptable. Single beds were the smallest I’ve ever seen.

Location was very convenient and had a room overlooking the canal. Best part was the view and cleanliness of the room.

We had issues with payment for the room as we had booked through Booking.com. Apart from that everything was lovely.

No ice available. Some of the front staff weren’t very helpful. No local calls offered. We needed to call a local vendor and the front desk wasn’t helpful at all and just told us there were no local calls available. Shower didn’t offer conditioner. Only a hair and body wash in one.

The hotel can´t do much with the drum´n bass sounds at night. We were aware of the sounds already before we arrived and were prepared. I quess that´s why it didn´t bother and actually slept quite good. My complaint is ventilation in the room - we didn´t want to leave the air conditioner on for the night and we woke up feeling we don´t have anything to breathe in the morning. But that is a small complaint.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect! Everything you need is right there and there is only about 20 minutes walk from Central Station. The hotels interior is modern and they offer free coffee downstairs. The room was fine, not that small.

I didn’t sleep for the 4 nights we stayed here. The nightclub behind the hotel played heavy drum and bass from 11pm - 4/5am every night. Earplugs helped but didn’t block out the vibrating through the building. Single beds also tiny. Constantly felt I was going to fall out. And the drains in the bathroom smelt quite bad. Such a shame because the hotel itself and location was perfect.

The noise!! Situated next to a nightclub, which played drum and base until 4am every night! Beds very narrow - it was like sleeping on a camp bed. No external window in the room.

The hotel staff were lovely. Room was spotless and serviced daily - shower was amazing! Great facilities - fridge, kettle, safe etc Great location, very central, situated on the canal.

Situated near a late bar/ night club, was on the second floor and could hear the people in the bar next door and the music went on very late and was very loud. Didn’t have great night sleep because of this

It seems there’s a local music venue that created quite a lot of noise on the Friday and Saturday night, pumping out heavy baselines until the early hours. Take earplugs and you’ll be fine 🫶

It’s in a really great location and the rooms are quite comfortable for a short stay

Loud music at night from clubs behind, it wasn’t really an issue for us as was only there 2 nights and was out 1 night until late, but if your looking for a peaceful early night sleep then this is the only downside for you.

I would like to point out that the below would not keep us from booking this hotel again. I have a great eye for detail and would really like to suggest the below minor obseravtions to the hotel, however minor or insignificant to others. - The shower curtain could have been a bit wider. - No clear mirror with lights for makeup. - We could hear a very loud guest adjacent to our room, and there is a club very close by. You can hear the sound, although we appreciated that we didn't hear it to its full extent, its not for light sleepers. - We would have appreciated being provided with a washcloth-size towel. - The wifi was very poor; in fact, we did not use it. - No cutlery or wine glasses stocked in hotel; however, the staff went out of their way to provide them. - The double bed was small for us, however, we do understand that a larger bed would have eaten up further space which was limited. - Limited TV channels

There is a club underneath the hotel. If your not going out to party or struggle to sleep you will find it hard. However they do have ear plugs at reception

We read a lot of reviews about loud music from the club next to it. We came on a Thursday and the first night we heard a little bit of bass but not bad at all. Friday and Saturday we bearly heard it and it wasn’t a problem at all. When we came in the room had a bit of a weird smell. It felt like a smell from the drain in the shower.

The location was very good, it was walking distance from everything we wanted to do. It was clean and the room looked like the pictures. The room wasn’t big but we didn’t mind. The staff was nice.
