We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe balcony is quite small and the windows are not very well insulated so you can hear people talking if they are on their balconies at night. It didn’t go until too late, but it could bother people.
Very clean and modern hotel just 10 minutes to the beach. The interior is also lovely and tasteful. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

United KingdomAt the time I stayed there was building work ongoing in the neighbouring buildings so that occasionally meant the road was blocked from one side for a short period.
Cosy, and tastefully appointed place to stay in Zandvoort, that for me was an interesting and good value alternative to staying in the city - 10 mins walk to the station and 11mins ride to Haarlem and 30 to Amsterdam Centraal! Room was well-equipped with fridge, Nespresso machine with daily pod replenishment, cute balcony and decent bathroom and great toiletries.

United KingdomThere was 1ft of room either side of the bed and 2ft of space from the bottom of the bed. Essentially a box room that would have been suitable for a single bed and no more. Bathroom very small and was a wet room so entire floor soaking after a shower for anyone using the bathroom after. Terrace is essentially a balcony from the doors of with no standing space outside and no view.

UkraineThe staff steals personal items left behind and does not admit to it. Expensive cosmetic patches were left in the hotel, but no one at the hotel admitted to taking them. The room I was checked into did not match the one I had booked on Booking.com at all. For instance, you might end up in a room with windows facing the road and sidewalk, where you can literally hear every sound of heels just a few meters from your bed. The walls are extremely thin (and I emphasize, they are very, very thin); you will catch every word spoken by the cleaners and some Polish workers at 8.30 am. Additionally, the floor was quite cold, with no slippers provided. There wasn't even a cup in the bathroom to hold a toothbrush, which is quite nonsensical :) Furthermore, there are some small bugs all over the room, in the bed, and in the bathroom. Do not recommend this place to stay at all, a living experience there can potentially ruin your plans.
