Nothing to be unliked really. it was cheap and perfect for a few nights!

A nice warm clean room. Internet was fast and neighbourhoods quiet. it was beginning of the winter though. The staff was remarkable! Really nice people! I was so late and they were still waiting for me! Communication was lovely really!!

As an improvement wish - maybe if the bed and pillow can be a bit more comfortable but after whole tiring days at the beach, it's not a problem to get asleep. :-)

The friendly owner, clean room, location very close to the beach and city center. All simple and not complicated. Thank you very much we will come again. Also, the owner helped to book the parking place via app. At the last day, we saw a notice of parking fine and informed the owner and he directly helped us to check and ensure no issue. (Eventually it looks like another car owner tried to shock or tease us with their parking fine notice and put it into our car...) ;-)

Had trouble finding a place for parking since no one seems to know where free parking is available. There was a storm day before and we wanted to check how the conditions are before coming but it was very difficult to contact the property prior to the travel and the communication was unhelpful.

Did not take the breakfast but it was available for an additional price. Room we found good enough for sleep in and location was ideal.

This is a most exceptional place. Really all what you need, and not more than you need, in a very special way: simple, friendly, minimalistic, a little alternative paradise, where time stands still. I wish there were more places like this, one almost thinks there that the world might survive. I hope Zeeschelp will survive and not change!

It was not what I expected. We ring the bell and nothing happens. Then I get to Backyard and my first impression was , what a mess. The "Terrace" looks like a place to dump all garbage and stuff. Finally an "familiary Assistant" of the host who was not briefed properly and not ready showed up and showed us the rooms. This was the next shock. I really wonder how that is possible and allowed on booking to allow rentals like this. It's even to bad for my dog or cats. The rooms are technically in a more then critical situation. No one will knows what happens in case of emergency such as a fire etc. Very low room ceiling, very narrowly stairway. A strange smell in the air and no private rooms for showering etc. And last but not least, the Host is very outrageously, impolite and arrogant from the start. They didn't even prepare the rooms properly but was insisting to get some cancelation -fee. What is wrong with booking com and how is that possible? We tried to cancel at least one room and complete but the communication was an absolute mess. Don't go there , even when you are absolutely desperate.

rooms are poorly equipped (80s style), too few toilets for the amount of guests (1 per floor = approx. 6rooms), the walls are so thin that you hear everything within that house (including in our case an alarm that did not turn off for the entire night - we did not receive an apology from the owners). moreover it was impossible to reach out to the pension upfront, thus we didn’t know the details of parking and as a consequence of course did not choose the right parking on our first day and paid a lot extra. overall very disappointing.
