Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The Pillows Hotel truly stood out for its incredibly helpful staff, who provided service with a perfect mix of professionalism and warmth. The room service, offered by the hotel’s Brasserie, was a highlight of our stay. It was a delightful surprise to receive such prompt, non-soggy, and tasty food directly to our room. Additionally, the gym and spa facilities, particularly the complimentary hydro bed massage treatments, added a luxurious touch that enhanced our overall experience. A notable mention must be made of how efficiently the staff handled our booking mistake. Despite having booked for the wrong month, they adjusted our reservation without hesitation, showcasing their exceptional customer service.

Everything. Exquisite experience in every way. The location is perfect - away from crowds, in a park setting, yet close to all of Amsterdam. The building and rooms are inspired. The front office staff is outgoing and knowledgeable and always smiling and helpful. The housekeeping staff is wonderful - extra care given to the smallest of details (and the lotions and sleep spray are fantastic!). The doormen are first class - always there to greet you with a warm smile, make sure you have an umbrella, always remember your name. And the concierge, well they are unparalleled. I have never had more lively conversations than I had with Stefan, Michael and Joeki. Their enthusiasm, good cheer, and vast knowledge is remarkable. I miss having coffee and bubbles and black truffle chips and cookies in the living room talking about a wide variety of topics. And the staff at Spring are delightful - and as happy as I am when “my table” is available! And then there are the professionals you partner with from private drivers to captains of vintage canal saloons.
