The small bathroom has too large a sink with drawers for that small a space; it was hard not to bump into the sink -even for small sized individuals.

Monica, our host, was very prompt to answer messages and seems very organized. Very kind to let us into unit earlier than the usual check-in time. Spacious bedroom, living room/ dining area. Nice residential neighborhood, about 8 minutes walk from Leiden train station and easy to walk into town.

It is a very cozy and clean apartment, close to the train station as well as to the city centre. The apartment is very clean and has many facilities. Especially, I appreciated free tee and coffee. Also, it was great to have a washing machine and a well equipped kitchen. Ideal for several days stay. The host Monica is very helpful.

Because the mail slot in the door does not close properly, it does get a bit cold inside. This is a minor issue, and the apartment was a great place to stay in Leiden.

Oversized bathroom sink in an otherwise reasonable ensuite

Quick easy walk from train station . Ground level flat with separate bedroom with ensuite ( tiny ) Combined large lounge kitchen dining with small setting in outside space which would only suit smokers Excellent underfloor heating , well equipped with washing machine dishwasher and lots of kitchen utensils stove microwave ( no stove ) and fridge , bed is a bit soft for our liking and would have preferred a couple of extra pillows to choose from one was too low and flat but overall excellent stay and Leiden is a beautiful little town with regular train to Amsterdam .

The shower could have been a bit cleaner. On the day we were leaving, the cleaning people got there before 10:30 and we told them we were on our way out. It is bad enough that the check-out is so early, so it would be better to have the cleaning people come at 10:35 instead of 10:25. Since we only stayed for 4 nights, it would have been nice to have coffee pods for 3 mornings and some soap/shampoo. I understand if somebody is getting a weekly rate that they should provide their own supplies, but on short stays it would be nice to not have to go out and find coffee pods.

The unit was located in a good location with easy access to the train station and to central area of Leiden. The unit was in good condition and was comfortable. The host had many pamphlets and guides available to find out about the offerings of the city. There was even a binder of details on how to operate the appliances and contact details. It was well organized and helpful.

The bathroom is too small. And the facilities provided are too few for two persons staying 3-4 nights, such as towels and toilet paper.

We stayed in the apartment twice, the first three days and the last four days of our whole 13 days trip. When we stayed in the first slot, there is no iron and ironing board in the apartment, I then wrote a message asking for these two devices. And when we arrived in the apartment later, we found that there are brand new iron and iron board in the apartment! Such a considerate and nice owner!

The only negative thing about the apartment is the size of the shower room and the toilet, because it is really cramped. It has everything you need and I (average size) got used to the limited space very quickly and this fact did not bother me.

It is actually about renting an apartment on the ground floor, which has a bedroom and a central room, which also includes a kitchen. The apartment includes most of the appliances required for daily living. The location is excellent, within minutes of cycling to anywhere significant in Leiden. During the time I stayed in the apartment, I did not experience any environmental noise or any other hazard. This is a residential neighborhood. The apartment owners were available and answered every question I had efficiently and quickly. It is important to remember that by renting the apartment, you lose the human connection with other tourists, which you can expect in a normal hotel.

As hoped, Monica's apartment turned out to be the perfect spot for the three of us to use Leiden as a base for a six-night stay in Holland (aka The Netherlands). Leiden itself is a wonderful place and we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of visible tourism. The property is in a very quiet neighbourhood just outside the old centre and a 5 to 7 minute walk to the station. It's quite fully equipped (stove and microwave, no oven) and we used it for breakfast and light meals. The small patio is a nice outdoor space for drinks and even a meal. Monica was a great host and, when asked, recommended an excellent pizzeria (Pavarotti) where we ate twice. It is well supplied but the policy seems to be that if one runs out (e.g. toilet paper) one should purchase more. Best to clarify with Monica.

Very little sound-proofing for bedroom although there wasn't a lot of noise outside the flat. Functional and modern but very small bathroom space. Could make it easier to recycle rubbish by providing separate labelled bins?

The sofa bed was not very comfortable and there were very loud noises from the boiler all night (in the same room) so the person sleeping in the living did not sleep well.

The apartment is 5 minutes by walk from Leida Central Railway Station and 5 minutes from Old City. The apartment is located in a quiet, charming street. Most importantly, Monica (the hostess) is extremely helpful!!! She specifically came to help me when my flight was cancelled. Moreover, Leiden during gold autumn season is a beautifully. Much more beautiful and interesting than The Hague.

Well there was nothing we did not like. It was just a perfect place to stay.

The location was perfect. Close to the bus and train stations just a 10 mim walk. The main city is also a min walk. The facility in the accomodation was perfectit was just like home. Could not have asked for more. Our host was fantasic ready if we needed her. Would highly recommend this place to everone. It was cosy, clean and very nice place. You could cook you own breakfast, lunch and dinner if needed (which we did). It also just a 10 min walk to any of the supermarkets in the area (jumbo, aldi, dirk) There was plenty of cleaning produces for us to use. Saved us lots of money doing this. This accomodation was just perfect what more can I say.
