Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

I like how welcoming all the staff members were! It felt like I am coming home! The room with the canal view was very nicely decorated and very comfortable, and the view was beautiful The breakfast was delicious and the living room area uplifting. The interior garden/patio area was very cozy and beautiful. .

United KingdomUnfortunately being honest, the stairs are quite typical dutch stairs and very steep and tight throughout the hotel. This wasn't a bother to me however, anyone with bad knee's may struggle. There may have been a lift in the hotel but I wasnt sure and they do have ground floor rooms.
The hotel is beautiful, the service was second to none. This is certainly my favourite hotel in Amsterdam and I wont hesitate to return. The view from my room was incredible of the canal. It was reasonably priced for such a good location and fabulous hotel.

The location was great and close to the tram stop. The staff were incredibly professional and very friendly. The service was outstanding. The interior is so beautiful and fits the architecture and style perfectly. My room was very comfortable and the view of the Amsterdam rooftops were amazing.

When we had an issue with the shower, a host instantly suggested us to take a shower in another room and on the next day technical issue was fixed. Located right where it should be in Amsterdam for a short stay. We have tried more than 10 hotels in Amsterdam and this one is so far the best. Highly recommend

FranceThe room on the canal was noisy from street noise all night long, which made it difficult to get a decent nights rest. The stairs are very narrow and tricky to navigate.
The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the canal and afternoon sunshine. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast room was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect!

United KingdomThe toilet was separate to the bathroom. The hotel doesn't have any facilities so there's not much to do there over a rainy weekend. The old fashioned key system where you give give the staff your key when you leave.
The location is perfect - short walk to Vondel park, Jordaan, and Central Station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful and the rooms are nicely furnished.
