We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomPerfect location on a main road with the bus 50 & 361 going past, including direct connections to Schiphol Airport and also easy connection to train stations & a cute town called Haarlem. I was sightseeing the tulips/windmills, and found it easy to navigate round. The hotel is attached to a pub restaurant & there aren't many other places to eat nearby so it's handy. The staff were helpful especially Tessa who went out of her way to kindly help when my charger didn't work, and the gentleman who's name I didn't catch, maybe Dan, told me about the nearest shop & how to reach there. Thank you for putting my mind at ease when I needed help. The room was comfortable but had a funny smell (just needed fresh air) and the safe battery could be replaced but these are small things. It was extremely quiet in the area which is perfect for undisturbed night sleep. There was also a garden area which can be used. It was raining during my visit but I imagine is lovely for dry days.

SwedenAll was good, but maybe some instable wifi and thin walls so you hear noice from road. Also steep stairs to room if you are older and might have issues with that. We knew about those negatives so wasn’t a problem for us.
Nice breakfast and cosy restaurant/bar with good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room as well, with convenient bus stop just outside Hotel. So it was easy to take bus to Schiphol and close to Keukenhof.

PortugalThe beds were not the most comfortable, a bit too soft for me. However, the staff was very helpful in bringing extra pillows as soon as we asked.
The staff were wonderful and the breakfast very nice, the dinner in the restaurant was excellent both nights.

United KingdomStaff were extremely friendly and welcome drinks offered on arrival. Loved that the restaurant and bar were located right next to hotel, for excellent drinks and food. Room/bathroom excellent, modern, comfy and clean. Bus stop directly outside of hotel. A very beautiful walk to Kuekenhof, which was the reason for our stay here. Maybe a bit lengthy for some, but the bus stop directly outside hotel can get you closer, with only a short walk. Lisse village centre about 25minutes walk, but again bus will get you there too...

It's was perfect location, bus stop right outside the hotel, we had easy access to all stations with the bus stop. Team is very helpful and friendly. Would recommend staying here if you want to visit the flower fields and Keukenhof.

FranceHeater switched off when I took possession of the room: the room was rather cold, due to the rainy weather. Room below the roof: when it rains hard, you hear it: difficult to sleep. The Wifi does not always work optimally (sometimes very slow): this should be improved.
Breakfasts. Rather quiet, in spite of being located by a rather busy road, in the morning. Cosy room, cosy restaurant. Bus stop beside the hotel (line 50): very very practical to go to Leiden or to Haarlem, or to catch the train at Sassenheim for reaching Den Haag or Amsterdam. The staff members were nice. The room was clean. Restaurant/bar just below: very practical when it is raining and you don't want to go outside for dinner or for a drink.

SloveniaThere are very (!) steep outside steel stairs for the rooms in the first floor, must be very careful when going down. In summer lack of climatization device could be issue, there is just a ventilator in the room.
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good location for visiting nearby park, also public transport (local bus) is just in front of the restaurant. Excellent breakfast!. Also dinner in the hotel restaurant was good.

The service was great. When I got there, I received a complementary drink. Later in the day, I asked the hotel if they could print something out for me later in the day. They said they could. I later said that I might have them print it out the next day which they also agreed to. As I was in the car ready to leave, the bartender came out to my car to let me know that if I needed a print out, to do it by a certain time. My car was in their parking lot but not close. I felt like a valued customer of the hotel because they went out of their way to accommodate me
