Shower head was broken so it was unable to deliver water with required speed. Bathroom door cannot be closed completely. The sink is outside the bathroom which is nonsense. A complete bathroom with a door could have been a better design.

Breakfast was perfect. More than you can expect from similar hotels in Europe.

The hardest, and biggest pillows you could imagine! Each person is provided with a choice of two to chose from, but both options were equally big and hard. We requested a change, but this is all they had. Considering the price of the room per night, its a pity. The WC door was a frosted glass panel, that did not close properly (it had one of those magnetic points) - either I or my partner had to lean a shoe or something against it to keep it shut. Not to mention the massive gap all around it that did not help with the acoustics either... Something as trivial as this can ruin one stay. Small stuff, but not so trivial considering the price. They could do better in my humble opinion.

Exceptional location, and breakfast. Rooms are small, but fancy and well detailed. Curteous and helpful staff, super efficient when it comes to replying online or via mail.

Only downside to this hotel is it's quite noisy - it's an old building so walls are quite thin and we were woken up by the room above us getting home at 4am and creaking about for a while. We also had a window looking out into the side alley and were woken up by the local bakery/restaurant crashing around outside at 7am. However, I also had failed to notice that there was a pack of earplugs each provided by the hotel next to the sink (along with the other amenities) which would have probably helped a lot more!

Really beautiful little place in a great location about 10 mins walk from Amsterdam central station. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we were checked in quickly. Room was a great size and the bed was super comfortable. Decor was really stylish and quirky Had the perks of some free non-alcoholic drinks in the pull out fridge (water, glass bottle coke, fanta). The buffet breakfast was really good - so much choice of food/drinks including eggs cooked to your liking. Really nice quality and a tasty way to start the day! Overall, I would very likely stay again and we had a nice night in Amsterdam here :)

We stayed in a basement double. The shower leaks out all over the floor and the bathroom door doesn't close. The room (#2) has a small window that opens to what I presume to be an ally/the hotel's service entrance, so there was a lot of noise from staff (presumed), rolling carts, etc, as early as 0600. Pillows were ridiculously uncomfortable.

Great location, 15 minutes or less walking time from everything. Staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The value for the money is what I'd assume to be average for a European capital.

The room was not clean on a daily basis, I had to talk to the staff everyday to request it, even the day they cleaned the room, the bathroom was not cleaned. Is not possible to close the doors from the bathroom and it leaks water from the shower and it makes a mess, making it really important to have the room cleaned on a daily basis.

Breakfast was delicious, various options to choose from. Location of the hotel is great and you can do most by foot, if you rent a bike there is a place to park it right by the hotel.

Very dark in the room. The shower door was badly designed and leaked. The cleaning service did not replace our coffee cups.

Location was excellent in easy walking distance of everything. The hotel had quirky decor and is clean, warm and renovated. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they have a luggage lock up service.

The design of a few rooms was confusing. We were originally given a triple room which was only accessed via some very narrow stairs. This was changed after the first day. We were also helped by a young guy who had his first day working at the hotel but he didn’t even know where our room was which was just odd. There was also a lingering smell of fried breakfast items throughout the downstairs portion of the hotel.

The room had a strange set-up. The shower and toilet are in a bathroom, but the sink is in the bedroom, which would disturb the sleep of a spouse or partner. The vanity is low to the ground and the sink is a giant, deep bowl. So it isn’t convenient for brushing teeth or putting contacts in. It’s strange.

The location is excellent. Breakfast is great.

The position of this hotel is excellent! I've had a tiny single room, but the comfort was enough for my needs. The rooms was very modern, but still mixed with artistical features that made me enjoy it better. Great breakfast, very worth it!!

Handwash basin in bedroom not bathroom made hand and face washing a bit messy. Intrusive digital oversink mirror led display not good for people who like a dark room at night.
