Room tablet was not preferred method of communicating with staff despite being present. Bathroom fan did not work. No door sign available to communicate room cleaning wishes.

Check in/out. Room comfort. Quiet neighborhood but within easy walking distance to downtown.

The shower curtain. Entirely too close to the shower head. We ended up fighting the curtain off for each shower taken.

Sunday night post King’s Day stay before returning to UK. Great central stylish boutique hotel less than 10 minutes walk from Centraal Station. Very welcoming and charming staff. Comfortable funky rooms. Faced the back over a garden area so nice and peaceful given the central location. Definitely stay again and can recommend with no hesitation. Short walk to a few good restaurants too. Having stayed with friends over the weekend this proved to be a good find for our final restful night. Complimentary drink a nice touch. Didn’t eat breakfast as planned that for the lounge in Schiphol so cannot comment on food. Perfect hotel for a 2-3 night city stay.

The location was ideal, short walk to many different sites and excursions. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The room was perfect, the pictures don't do it justice. Would absolutely recomment, 10/10!!

The room was a little tight (small), but we sort of expected that.

We loved the ambience, and the view of the canal with windows open was wonderful. It was a lovely historic building.

I was unable to accomplish the online check in the night before so waited until am to do so. unfortunately I had to leave at 7AM and no one was at the desk. I tried calling the afterhours number but could not get through. I eventually was able to complete the online checkin.

The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. the bar was very atmospheric and the bar tender attentive. I loved the coffee maker in the room with small little cups and saucers, and the sheets and linens were very soft. the room is very small but the windows opened up to the street and canal which was very fun to watch. the room was very unique and intimate. the bathroom was updated and clean though very small...like cruise ship bathroom small.

Unfortunately when we arrived the air conditioning was not working and it was mid 70 degrees. The staff was very apologetic and gave us free drinks as well as a little toiletries gift. They put us 2 fans in the room and we were ok. The A/C was fixed in 2 days.

It was in a very good location in the center of the old town, lots of restaurants close by. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was big modern with 2 sinks. The room also had a Nespresso machine.

The management needs to train the reception staff, to be prepared to answer specific questions, such as producing an invoice.

Stayed as a group with 6 kids under the age of 12, since this was not a big star hotel was a bit concerned but they handled us in the best possible way. Special thanks to the staff who were all extremely friendly. Location is awesome, can view from the rooms have the perfect feel of Amsterdam and within walkable distance to almost all attractions. Clean neat rooms and housekeeping was great. Family room for 4 was really nice and the bath was pretty spacious…. The largest by far in have seen in Amsterdam. The quality of toiletries was top notch …. I am very particular and carry my own everywhere but very few places I feel the ones provided by the hotel are better n this was one such place.

Bathroom is a bit tiny but it’s modern and clean.

Location is very central. You can walk to most places. The room with canal view is great. I love how there are chairs by the window where you can sit and people watch, it definitely adds to the vibe. Bed is comfy and room is clean.

The setting and location is brilliant, 5-10 mins from everything and everywhere, railway, tram, bars, coffee shops, restaurants, pancake houses, cake shops, red light area etc. Reception staff were very helpful, bar staff attentive and very warm with plenty of advice. The room was perfect for our needs, great canal view, clean and tidy. The cleaning staff were also attentive to all details and very thorough. Beds are comfortable and rooms are warm and secure, good lighting and plenty electrical outlets. Bathrooms are pods but contain everything you need, great shower! The hotel has lovely decor throughout, is generally quiet and you could easily keep yourself to yourself if you prefer. However we found everyone (staff and guests) to be very friendly and happy to share information and experiences whether for eating out, transport or places to visit. When we return to the 'Dam', this is where we want to stay. Thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed our stay.

The location is very nice, right along one of the canals. The staff was friendly and helpful, even taking our stored bags up to our room when it was ready before our return. The room was lovely and we really enjoyed having the canal view. We did not try the breakfast.
