The mattresses were very old and uncomfortable, especially on the double bed. There could be more choice at breakfast.

The location of the hotel is great - about 20 minutes' walk to the center, just a few meters to the tram. The staff was very nice, the room spacious.

Again, the room was small for a standard double. The bar was closed when we arrived (to be fair, it was about midnight), but we overheard another guest being told that the bar/restaurant was not open.

The rooms are small (we had a standard double) but there is no wasted space whatsoever, with plenty of room for our things. The hotel reception is clean, and well lit. The staff on hand were very friendly and approachable.

Rooms are extremely small. The toilet/shower room is basically a converted wardrobe.

Good location, a little outside the action but only a quick 10-15 minute walk or a quick 2 stop tram journey and you were back in it. Very quiet as well at night which was good

Pricy for a tiny room but this is to be expected in Amsterdam. Smell coming from drain in bathroom at times.

THE STAFF made this experience so incredible. We arrived well before check in and they stored our bags/allowed us to relax in the bar and ended up expediting our check in. They really saved us! The rooms are tiny but beds were so comfortable. Water pressure was good but at times there was a bit of a smell from the drain. Location was fantastic in a great neighborhood near the tram, cafes, restaurants, etc.

The bar area was closed during our three night stay. We enquired and was told it was due to renovation. When we checked out we mentioned it again and was told if we had mentioned it they would have opened it for us. A bit contradictory.

The location was great. Regular trams both into the centre of Amsterdam and skirting round the city to out lying areas. It was very clean and the room was very comfortable and well equipped.

The only thing which was challenging a little was the tiny bathroom, but we managed, if one is staying only for couple of nights is not a big deal.

The hotel is located in very nice part of Amsterdam. We liked the very easy process to check in, we liked our room, it was pretty spacious for only a small room.

Only downside was our double bed was quite small. Fine for the couple of nights we stayed but would have been a problem for a longer stay.

The location was superb, really quiet but close enough to the main attractions by tram/metro. The hotel was really clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were polite and helpful.

The rooms in the older part of the hotel are very small.

The hotel has easy access to all of Amsterdam’s sights and attractions. However, when you need some time to relax it can be quite peaceful.

- Tiny bath towels in the room, only just bigger than the hand towels - Coffee only facilities in the room are good but come with (creamer/powdered milk) no normal tea, just mint - You’ll need a mortgage if you want to buy a bottle of water and bag of crisps in the hotel lobby - The hydraulic dampers on the room doors are non functioning, just heard doors slamming by accident all the time

Location and overall aesthetic of the hotel is great! Decent restaurants/coffee shops nearby and the zoo is the accross the road Staff were helpful and friendly too.

Lack of restaurant. Noisy guests. Loose handrail from entrance.

Breakfast was limited choice. The location was ideal by not being to close to city. Noisy guest in nearby room, had to ask them to be quiet around midnight. Staff were excellent. Bar had limited stock. Definitely should invest in a restaurant as the street has limited choice.

The room was extremely small. The bathroom so small that was hard to move when in it. The room is not as clean as you would like. I lifted the mattress to look for something and the bottom of the bed was full of dirt. Very expensive considering the size of the room and standard hotel which is rated 4*
