Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsFrom the moment of my arrival, I noted beautiful, clean, facility friendly staff and a hip and trendy lounge, which was exactly the kind of welcome a solo traveler like me needs. My room was comfortable and well done. But, it was the friendly group of personnels, who my stay an event. They were filled with smiles and eager to please. The location was a big bonus, Located in the downtown area, there are loads to do in the surrounding area, if you can manage to leave the hotel's lounge. I would definitely recommend a stay, you will not be disappointed. To the staff, thanks a bunch for making me smile.

ArgentinaIt's really only a design detail, but we stayed in The Cosy, and the door to the bathroom is the same as the door to the shower (you just move it for what you need it). It was a little bit awkward since the space was not perfectly set up so one had to come out of the shower, move the floor mat, close the door again in order to be able to come out. It was just an awkward design decision due to the smaller space.
We loved this place. We had originally planned to stay one night and then decided to extend our stay one more night. The staff is extremely helpful and nice, we received the best recommendations of places to eat and see in the city. The room is cosy and equipped with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Also, we mentioned more than once how good the whole hotel smells; the scent around matches the shampoo/conditioner/soap they offer. Everything smelt divine.

United KingdomThe bed wasn’t the most comfortable, it was pretty hard and the WiFi didn’t work too well in the room, it kept kicking us off and on the last night didn’t work at all. WiFi worked great in the main bar area though.
Gender neutral toilets was such an ace thing to do!! Very inclusive! The bar and work area are great and the rooms are just what you need for a few nights in the city.
