We had a very nice, large room. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was squeaky clean and had a great shower. We had a really good dinner at their restaurant and the breakfast buffet was excellent. All of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Room is pretty, high quality furniture. Breakfast is good, not many choices but the ones you have a decent. Location is great. The combination of the hotel in the theater is quite cool, last time there was even a show when I stayed. Will come again when visiting Venlo. Thanks!

The view of our room was terribly disappointing. The lady at the reception was rather unfriendly and unhelpful.

We are returning guests, as we like the hotel and the location very much. Nevertheless, this time, we got a room with no view at all, which made me feel a bit claustrophobic and disappointed. We had a view of the wall and windows of the building next door. It is some kind of fitness studio and their lights were on the whole night :-( The hotel was half-empty, so I did not understand why we got that particular room. No one can be happy there... Still, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious enough, and we stayed just overnight, so we didn't complain. The lady at the reception did not display much friendliness upon our arrival, so I decided not to ask her to give us another room. Breakfast is always very good in this hotel with the satisfactory variety of cold/hot meals and drinks. Service at the hotel bar is perfect - the barman knows his job and is very kind.

I wouldn't say I liked the way the curtains were closed when I entered the bedroom But it was clear to me why, when I opened the curtains a wall was my view. It was fine, and this was a very quiet room.

I loved the size of the bedroom and the bathroom. Chic bathroom. No complaints. Very nice room.

We booked hoping to get the use of the top floor restaurant to sit and eat and take in the view of the harbour. Unfortunately this is all closed off. We had my disabled, elderly mum and dad with us who would of appreciated watching the world go by from there, while we took walks, which they could not do. That was really one of the main reasons for staying there to give us peace of mind that they were enjoying the view, while we were out.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel. Near shops, restaurants, water.

Although it was not the fault of the hotel, the roadworks, which are ongoing for another year apparently (August 23 at time of visit), made finding access difficult, especially since coming off the roundabout it looks like the road is closed, and the signage that access only is allowed was not obvious. The hotel entrance otherwise is in a pedestrian area, but if we were in a car I don't know where you would offload if you weren't using their parking, and knew how to get there. Being on a motorcycle though meant we were a little more manoeuvrable to eventually find the parking entrance, it was easy once you know how. Our room was spacious yet there is almost no storage for clothing, and living out of cases is not ideal for longer stays (four nights), a few more shelves and hanging space woul be helpful, considering also we had extra requirements for helmets and motorcycle clothing, jackets etc.

The central location is excellent, really good access to restaurants, shops, museums, the parks, the railway station, and of course the Theatre, etc. Breakfast was enjoyable, self service, but catered also for specific dietary requirements, in this case gluten free rolls were supplied at breakfast, but they need to know in advance in booking, and suggest reminder on arrival. Check in was easy and staff very helpful, including tourist map, and iron and board available on request. The small bar seemed underused but made for a relaxing drink, and the bar person we met was very friendly, and happy to play the music we liked whilst we were there. We took advantage of the parking available below the building. Our room was excellent, clean, tidy and spacious and a lovely view of a square and the old building adjacent. Housekeeping were also very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, and with the hot weather we experienced were very grateful for the air conditioning.

I hated the bathroom, open bathroom is the most stupid invention ever, the shower was not strong and there was no placement of the showerhead possible at a normal height of 150- 180cm

Parking went well, Staff all friendly, Hotel looks nice, rooms are large, It was flexible to leave our bought stuff at lobby as well as leaving our car even after check out in garage
