Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LuxembourgIf it is your first time and you are shy, I would recommend look at the calendar first and go on the swimwear-day.
When you stay overnight as a guest you receive towel, bathrobe and slippers, and you can use the massage chairs as much as you can. Room was big, comfy bed and we had a nice balcony. Breakfast was good but go early to avoid crowdedness. Amenities were good, spacious and even with many guests you can find places to be quiet, for example the relaxation room under the solarium its great to read a book or sleep. If you stay over for only one night, the other day you can leave all your belongings inside a locker and enjoy until late, they have showers, changing room spaces, so with this option we enjoyed two days. They have various spa options (check the cabins outside too). You can bring a bottle of water and fill it up there, you can bring it with you to many places to keep hydrated. Our stay was during the mixed-day (as of the calendar), therefore in the pool people were wearing swimwear and inside the saunas people were naked. It was not very clear to us during this mixed-day if inside the saunas we could or not wear swimwear (as everyone was naked). Don't get me wrong, it was a nice experience (you can be with the towel all the time but with no swimwear).

NetherlandsHotel guests are able to enter the sauna landscape and pool 1 hour earlier, but the saunas we could access were limited as many were not yet up to temperature. The dinner is of good quality, but the price paid vs. quality is out of balance.
The room is spacious, modern and clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast is good enough and especially the different granolas were delicious. We really enjoyed the saunas, swimming area and massages we took (Lomi Lomi and Lotus). Staff is regularly checking on sauna status, ensuring that all remain up to quality / get refreshed as needed.

NetherlandsDo NOT like the recent change made by moving their gourmet dining restaurant to the sauna complex area - we always liked getting dressed for dinner after a full day of relaxing but I refuse to have a gourmet dinner where we normally pay up to 160 euros (including wine) in my bathrobe as we now are forced to do - put restaurant Pure BACK in its original location otherwise there is NO reason to overnight in the hotel - who wants to finish your lovely relaxing day eating your dinner with your partner in a wet bathrobe? For those who had just a day pass the casual sauna location restaurant was fine, but for those overnighting and want to make it a special experience dining now where restaurant Pure has been “temporarily relocated as a trial” is HORRIBLE!!!! We have been loyal customers for 25 years now but this change is absolutely the wrong move - VERY dissatisfied - not to mention the fact that “the chef was ill” so we could not even have a nice dinner and were left with the simple menu above the pool area - how about a quick message on your website thermae 2000 to inform your guests? It is 2024 I’m sure it’s possible- Anyhow the resort spa wise is wonderful as always, the rooms perfect but the choice to move Pure is NOT a good one at all!!!!!
That it has a lot of sauna steam and pool facilities

NetherlandsFor a four-star hotel, the room was kind of simple. The bedding was not that comfortable, especially the pillows. It was nice that there was a breakfast, but it was very simple. Also, the food in the restaurant was very basic and a bit bland.
The spa is amazing. It is really nice to be able to go straight from your room. Also appreciate the way you can continue to use the spa after checking out. And the view from the room is really nice. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful in assisting us.

BelgiumThere were issues during checkin, the wellness got too busy to the point you couldn’t enter some saunas and jacuzzis, the food at the restaurant is expensive. The room was okay, but nothing amazing, I didn’t think it was worth the price.

MaltaThe options to dine are very restricted. Despite the various dedicated spaces throughout the property, only two were available, and unfortunately not the best two options - lounge bar setting is fantastic but the food options is very limited. There are not options to get a drink or a snack in the sauna area which is a real pity.

NetherlandsService at the lounge I found not using proper ways of communicating with guests sitting close to our table. They forgot our order and we had to go search for someone to take our order after 40min of waiting. Room was neat but not a 4 star hotel. Receptionists were friendly but only because they were doing their job. Sometimes receiving a guest isn't only to make the friendly question but to be interested and enjoy what you do.
The Thermae itself with activities and facilities was very enjoyable. Food was nice and the different saunas also. Breakfast was wonderful and tasty.

NetherlandsWe had to pay 15€ for parking. Which normally I wouldn't mind but being a hotel guest (so not a daily visitor just for the spa) you already pay quite some money for your stay. I'd expect parking to be included. Upon booking, I requested a "birthday package" which meant that they would decorate the room as a surprise for my partner's b-day. Unfortunately they forgot, no decorations and it was pretty disappointing
