The room was a box room without a window it felt very claustrophobic and hot. But there was a fan present. On the second night there was another guest who slept in the corridor due to lack of rooms and I wasn't able to leave the door ajar for some light in. Although I was aware I booked a room without a window. The steep stairs up were a bit of a problem as I have mobility issues but other than that. My stay in the hostel was alright.

location was perfect near all the amenities and public transport nearby. The staff were friendly and offered to carry my heavy luggage up the stairs for me as I have a health condition. Bedroom and bathroom/toilet were clean.

Although it is very cheap, it is still too simple. The room has no window (it is mentioned in the advertisement), and the air is not flowed and it feels not so healthy. The bathroom is too narrow and has no place to put clothes. The hot water is not stable. By the way, the WiFi is not stable and too slow during the rush time.

The location is really good (about 15 min to centraal by foot). The price is absolute cheap.

Found a bug in one of the beds during the first evening and suspected BED BUGS. Later turned out that it actually was bed bugs - two from our group of five and two other of our friends in another room got tons of bites... Have contacted the hostel about it and hopefully they will do what's necessary to get rid of them but until then I would recommend to stay at another place when visiting Rotterdam. Some problems with one of the showers on each floor.

The rooms and beds looked very comfortable and homey, we got a good first impression! Really good location in the city - close to the station, nice restaurants/pubs and walking distance to many of the places we were visiting. Nice and friendly staff.

Do not feel as in hostel, no room to meet other people, staff is invisible, bar is not working. Showers are not comfortable, can't control water. Very tiny halls, rooms.

Not all beds have outlets, no lamps in the beds. But worst, no way of locking your stuff. Sadly there is also no real common room with couches/tv etc. Toilet and showers are not dirty, but also not nice. Don't expect to meet lots of other young backpackers there.

Very nice personal. The restaurant/bar below is neat. Large windows in the rooms (that should not be taken for granted in the Netherlands). Beds were clean and check-in/checkout worked without any problems

This is a fairly budget option as an accommodation given its location. The room was very small and did not have any decoration with even simple interior design missing. Shared restrooms and showers were not all working or missing things (lights not working, no toilet paper etc.).

Well for start... We arrived a bit earlier than check-in time and we had some issues getting in. There was no door bell and nobody around to help us getting in. After a second we realized that there was a phone number to call on a sign on the front door, however we had no credit on our phone to call. So we started looking around to see if there was anyone eager to help us getting in to leave our bags. We realized that the bar door just next the front door was open, so we took a peak in just to see if anyone could have helped us... We found the whole staff looking at us really badly. We felt so uncomfortable that we immediately closed the bar's door and kept wondering how to get in. After a few minutes a staff member gets out of the front door and while we were just chatting between each other he starts staring at us very intensely... He had quite an angry face, his belly was completely out of his t-shirt and his pants' zip was completely open. We felt so uncomfortable again that we decided to leave immediately without even try to talk to him and ask for help. A few hours after, we managed to call the number on the door and a super nice lady checked us in. The check in took place in the middle of the closed empty bar, that it's not a big deal really its just that I find a bit of a pity that they didn't have any sort of reception. For every question you have you need to call that same number. Not great in my opinion. The rest of our stay was kind of okay apart from our last night, that was a Friday night, we came back at the hostel around midnight probably and we found 5 or 6 staff members, including that same guy from our first day, hanging in front of the door entrance, drinking and smoking. We were sleeping on the third floor but we could still hear them... They were so freaking loud all night... At least until 2 am. I don't even know what they were yelling but it seemed to us more of a Gorilla's or animal's noises Ahahah very odd.

I really enjoyed the location and the double bed in our room was really comfy! Also, the girl checking us in was lovely :)

Doors in the facility bang loudly. Bathroom had poor light and nowhere to put belongings on. Thin walls and windows let all the noise in.

There was nothing like a glass or even water to drink from. The stairs was creepy. I don't recommend this for family with Kids. This was a hostel room and not a hotel room. These things were not mentioned in the ad.

There were different insects inside the room. I was bitten multiple times by something and received an allergic reaction (including my mouth getting swollen) that lasted for longer than a week. No common areas where one can sit/eat/work on laptop. No laundry facilities. The cost is exaggerated given the quality of the room.
