That’s not something I didn’t like, but I can see it being a con for other people: you’ll have to go up and down the stairs every time you want to access the kitchen or the bathroom. You have to crawl to get access to the two additional beds. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it may be a problem for others considering booking this property.

It’s so cozy! It felt like I was staying at an Animal Crossing house. It was equipped with everything we needed—including two bikes! It was the perfect place to rest before heading to Germany. Oh, and I love love love how there’s a booklet that tells you the story of the property.

Exceptional property managers! Beautiful home and quiet area perfect for couples and very exotic! Highly recommend for people who hate looking for parking and for people to charge their cars free of charge! The perfect birthday Airbnb! The bicycles were a nice touch too!

Everything is perfect and living in Vondice gives us feeling of leisure and relax. Spacious and well designed with cooking set to make simple meal by ourselves. A must live hotel for traveling to Amsterdam. A supermarket is nearby and even you could use the sport center equipment nearby if you have the equipment, eg something like tennis squash. The only one thing to improve is the stairs and the floor of the bathing and toilet are quite slippery. Also, installing a mirror on the floor of the bed room will be more convenient for customers.

Was great for our family for a 2 night stay but any longer and the layout would get frustrating. So many stairs and lacked a living room/sofa space. .And I really disliked not having a door on the bathroom and clear glass on the shower. Staying here with our two young teenagers was doable but not super practical since the sleeping cabins are underneath the main bedroom.

Such a unique, cool, historic place! Very clean and comfortable. Loved the coffee! The view of the water was lovely. Quiet residential location outside city center but easily accessible with public transport or Uber.

The location is fantastic, a very short walk to the tram and so very close to Amsterdam Central. The accommodation is fantastic!!

We love the surprising architecture and decor. The beds are very comfortable and the shower fantastic. Also patio, free parking, loan bikes and a small welcome basket with goodies raise the rating. The location is quiet, beautiful and close to the center. We would definitely stay here again.

This was by far the best hotel i‘ve ever been to. Whatever i needed , you had it. Beautiful house with lovely details in a cool neighborhood. There was literally nothing that could be better, except for one thing: the bathroom with a door would be cool, but for us this wasn‘t problematic.. thank you very much for everything, looking forward for the next stay!

Everything was perfect!

Special and fantastic hotel! Beautiful design, super clean and very neat. The bed sleeps heavenly, everything is there and the roof is magical. Definitely stay here again! Special valuable overnight stay.

Can't really think of any, maybe that you can't see the famous canals? But hey, take the bikes that come with the hotel and you are there in 10 minutes.

What an amazing place, a complete surprise. We love the fact that this old building has been preserved for the future by turning it into a secret luxury escape. If you are coming to discover beautiful Amsterdam, you better book this as your temporary home base. The attention to detail, materials and design is stunning, someone put a lot of love into it. And a similar building right next door is serving the best coffee, how is that for a neighbour!
