The sink was filling up, small technical problem. Nothing big. Already reported at checking out. Oh and no mouse to say "peep in de Voorhuys." 😂

No one to check us in, we waited for about 10 mins and tried the restaurant too. When the man came no apology, the rest of the stay was good and check out was super easy with very nice lady. Just not a great first impression, which is a shame.

This is a fine hotel. The rooms are clean, large and modern. The facilities are as-expected and efficient. The level of service is good. There is plenty of parking and easy access to the hotel. In short: this is nothing special but a perfectly fine way to spend a night.

Great central location on the square which had a nice atmosphere with lots of al fresco dining. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, as well as a huge free car park. Nice hotel restaurant with very friendly staff.

Our room was right at the town square, this made a lot of noise.

The bathroom has no door. Twin beds. The hotel is near the town square and the bells are ringing every 15 minutes.

After a long day on a boat in Gietheroon, we found this hotel. A spacious modern room, with a kettle and coffee machine. No refrigerator in the room, but it is possible to put food in the hotel's kitchen. Breakfast is quite good. 15 euro pp.There are some nice restaurants nearby. Free Parking.

I have stayed here previously and found that it was excellent so had no hesitation in booking here once again. I am very pleased to say that the hotel has maintained their high standards - clean and quiet rooms, very attentive and helpful staff and nice restaurant.

It's hard for me to pick an issue, but if I had to make some points: The breakfast provided was really nice but I think some signs on the food and drinks would have been good. A bit more clarity on the charges for the bike rental rates would have also been good.

The hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Emmeloord. We were greeted with a very friendly staff at check-in who also helped to book the bicycles (remember to book in advance, especially during the peak periods). The room was very spacious and superbly comfortable. Some rooms may be more exposed to noise from the street and restaurant/bar, but the room we stayed in was really fine and had no issues. We loved that the hotel is also very central in Emmeloord and within walking distances to shops and food, and within cycling distance to many of the beautiful tulip fields in the area.

The lighting in the room was very dim, especially in the bathroom, which made it not usable for anything. Also, the shower is an open space, like part of the main bedroom. No privacy at all. The decor was not my preference, but I'm sure some people like it.

If you want to be in the middle of the town, this is the right place to stay. It was surprisingly quiet, although the very next night will be a carnival in front until 8 May. So glad we missed it by one day! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and adjoining restaurant were good. Also, the shower was hot with good pressure and the bed was comfortable.
