The most thing I didn't like was that our room, the biggest smelled a bit of damp, musty smell. It was obvious to us when the room was closed and we walked in. We had the windows open at all times, we don't know if it was the bedding or walls? It was a big bedroom! We couldn't figure out how the television worked, some old instructions in the welcome book but the lady hoist came quickly.

It is a really big space and my 2 grown up children had their own room there but we looked for this before booking. Everything needed was there, we did share 1 bathroom and toilet. The toilet is in the bathroom, which is less handy sometimes.. . The kitchen was well equipt, lots of cups, plates, glasses etc!! Everything there. There is a dishwasher, tablets were there and washing machine and dryer that worked well. The outside place is big, lots of chairs, swing there to use etc. 2 good bicycles there to use, 1 smaller one had a flat tire. Lovely holiday camp place, well maintained, quite, you could walk to the small lake etc. It was a relaxing place, books there to read too and once we figured out how the television worked we could use this too. It was easy to contact the host lady through WhatsApp and she responded very quickly, we had to do as we couldn't figure it out.

Quaint accommodation and a nice spot in the tulip area

There are some significantly steep stairs to the second floor - keep in mind for older people and luggage. The twin beds upstairs are on the floor along an angled roofline - so not ideal for tall (or older) people - but kids will love it. This location is within a gated bungalow community so it is not the easiest to get in and out and parking is at a lot and you need to walk through the paths to access your place.

The property owner Monique was fantastic and very accessible. She made everything easy. It is a comfortable accommodation with everything you need to settle in after exploring the tulip area. The available bicycles were great quality and exploring the lovely paths and restaurants close to the property (along the water path) is highly recommended and easy to miss unless you look for it.
