We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanySmelled moldy, the small bathroom Window was directly connected to the neighbors room. Smelly Business for the poor neighbors. Thats the reason why the room Smells, because u dont want to bother the other Persons with ventilating the bathroom. The remote control Was very dusty so we touched it only with a plastic bag. As we sat down on the bed there Was a cloud of dust. The room is very small and cold, especially the floor.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place. Cleaning services came to the room everyday. Coffee machine in the room was a big advantage. The area was quiet and I could sleep peacefully at night. The staff at the reception are always helpful The town is very nice and peaceful. 50 mins by train to and from schipol Airport. Train station is 10-13 mins walk away. Plenty of restaurants around and supermarket is close by. Internet was fast I could work from my room sometimes.Great value for money too

SwitzerlandThe room: I paid more money for a bigger room with a balcony/terrace, because I had to spend hours in it for working purposes. Since I was travelling alone as a woman, I did not want to stay at the ground floor, for safety. When I arrived, a room at the ground floor was given. It was a very small warm room with an even smaller room used as washing room with a very small washbasin. Both rooms were separated by a sliding door, which was not closing densely. The so-called terrace was a part of the footway outside the rooms at the inner courtyard, at which one has placed some plastic furniture. A trash can was very near to mine. Since the guests of 2 other rooms had to use this footway to enter their rooms, it was not a defined private place belonging to my room, because these other guests, their dog and also the cleaning women who came in the morning crossed over this so-called "terrace" to have access to the other rooms. So the "terrace" was a part of an access way to the other appartments. At one morning, people were sitting at the plastic chairs of "my" terrace smoking. There was a glass door as entrance door to the room, but no window to open during the night. When I arrived, an unfriendly lady at the reception said that the hotel is fully booked, but that they could give me another room with a balcony the very next day. The next day her husband was at the reception. He told me, that they could give me another room at the next day, because so many persons were then checking out. At the next day, the unfriendly woman was at the reception and told me that they could not give me another room, it would be only one more night. Before, that lady told me that she had to call the owner of the hotel to ask if she would be allowed to give me another room. When I wanted to know the name of the owner and mentioned that I want to talk to him personally, that lady said that it would not be possible.
The cleaning ladies were friendly.

United KingdomThe first night we were kept up by school children in the corridor until 3am. We were not left a "no cleaning today" sign and so the cleaner walked in when we were asleep as we could not put a sign up. The stairs leading to our apartment the carpet looks noticeably old and was coming away from the stairs, it needs repair. The room in the apartments facing the street were very hot and could do with a fan/air conditioning. The pillow was not in good condition but I made the best of it. It would be good to have a fridge in the room so we could store some essential foods.
It was clean and Ithought the bed was comfy. It was reasonably priced. One day we asked the cleaner not to clean and she was helpful left us a no cleaning sign and just gave us extra towels.

Belgiumthe main issue was payments. there was no possibility to change term of staying even in advance. we have booked 3 night, but because of my work situation changed and we could stay only for 2 nights. I asked in two weeks before and they say there’s a minimum of 3 nights… there was also big mess to pay extra services like extra bed, breakfasts, parking card etc. they do not provide a bill where you can see all services with prices. so watch good what are you paying.

Hotel Zeespiegel was in a lovely location and the staff were lovely as well. We had a very comfortable room at the back, which opened out into the garden. We were travelling with our bikes and the staff allowed us to bring them inside and lock them in the garden. Location was great - 5 to 10 min from several restaurants and the beach!

United KingdomThe poor blinds let in so much light and it the beds werent very comfy which made it difficult to sleep properly. This is a very noisy hotel, you seem to hear every knock through the building and there was a window behind our bed which led to an ally way where people would walk past or cleaners dragging mop buckets which was really loud. The bathroom for some reason stank of cigarettes. Unsure if the vent led to someones smoking area.
All staff were really friendly and it is in an amzing location.

United KingdomI booked a junior suite at extra cost as a treat. To be honest, the room was poor, everything was old, and tired. There was a socket hanging off the wall, the shower room and loo were very basic and need an upgrade for the money being charged. We moved on to another hotel for less money that far exceeded this in quality. Parking was difficult.
