I was warned that Apeldoorn is boring, and after two nights I can confirm this without hesitation.

The property is well maintained and all amenities were in excellent condition.

Very pleasant part of Apeldoorn. The hotel is attractively furnished and care has been taken with comfort. The rooms have all that you need and mine was a very good size. Breakfast is fairly standard Dutch fare but in a nice breakfast lounge. Staff and owners friendly and helpful. I hired one of their cycles.

Lovely location and very nice decor and large, comfortable room. Very helpful owners who recommended us a restaurant and booked it for us. Town lovely and nice to walk around (park and town Center very near the hotel)

we loved everything

Zenzez is a charming boutique hotel situated in a lovely, quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the central square. Our stop in Apeldoorn was primarily to see the Paleis Het Loo and we originally intended to stay for just one night. We were so charmed by the warm atmosphere and Petra's kindness that we extended our stay another night. The palace was a quick 10 minute drive from Zenzez, and worthy of a full day's visit. Breakfasts were delicious, and the breakfast room a serene start to our day.

Very easy to find. Parking available on the road opposite or in the agreed nursery car park as necessary. Decor inside immediately showed quality and host very pleasant and so welcoming. Colour scheme coordinated and the overall feel of the place was extremely pleasing and each room had access to drinks and in dining room there was access to further alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Bed was incredible comfortable as were pillows and quality linen used. There was a very comfortable outside seating area at the back of the property which was available for guest use.

The owner clearly takes pride in their establishment. In many hotels I’ve visited on this trip, I’ve noticed that the public spaces are elegant, but the rooms are basic and worn. This is not the case here. All spaces are cozy and thoughtfully decorated. My room contained many details that elevated it. I noticed that the bed linens and towels were not basic hotel issue, but high quality. It is this attention to detail that stood out to me. Easy walk into town, easy *free* parking and quite a few English language tv channels (again, attention to detail - hotels are in the business of making international guests feel welcome - so many other hotels do not subscribe to any English language channels or seem particularly eager to make an effort).

We’ve stayed at some amazing placing across Europe and have been made to welcome in many wonderful places. But the welcome we got at Zenzez and the hospitality is head and shoulders above the rest, thank you! You made us feel so at home and so welcome. The facilities are lovely and the breakfast – YUM! Superb hotel. Very clean. Room was lovely, and spacious. We also had a huge balcony. The owners are amazing, and very friendly. The outside garden area at the rear of the hotel is nice and relaxing. It's only a 5 minute walk to the centre, with plenty of restaurants & bars.

We had a beautiful room with a spacious balcony , but unfortunately it faced the road , which is quite busy traffic-wise, despite the hotel being in a residential area. Perfect if you're into people watching but I'm a fairly light sleeper so next time I'll ask for a room at the back.

Warm welcome and a beautiful room with a spacious bed and airco ! The breakfast was very nice and served at the table which I find is much more relaxing than a buffet. We had our breakfast the second time on the patio at the back and that was just heaven !

Breakfast was great but only available from 8 on the weekends. Hotel does not have any private parking but we were always able to park very close on the street outside and there is no charge for parking

Beautiful building with lovely interior decoration, the hosts were so welcoming it felt like you were being welcomed into their home rather than arriving at a hotel. Location is on a fairly quiet street about a 10 minute walk from the town centre

The hotel doesn't have dedicated parking. There is limited street parking. The good thing that it's free and we had no problems finding parking. In a beautiful old house like this, expect steep stairs and no elevator. It makes up for that with charm!

Not a breakfast buffet, you order the evening before and it's ready when you go down. There's a good selection of options and the breakfast quality is outstanding, as I have come to expect in the Netherlands. The breakfast room is super charming. If you need anything during the day, take it from the fridge and write down what you took - the honor system works!
