Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

SwedenIt should be put in the description which you see before booking, that the hotel is charging 100 € for every person as guaranty/insurance. I got my money back, but I would prefer to be informed about this in advance. It also should be clear before booking that you need to pay for slippers in order to use the spa facilities.

GermanyLocation, quiet and easy to reach from the airport but a bit decentralized and you have to take a while to get into the city, however, perfect for a wellness weekend.
A pleasure to stay at this hotel and can unreservedly recommend it. The hotel is a clean, well-equipped facility, which makes the entire staff an oasis of well-being. The principle "customer is king" really stands out and is lived by the entire staff. One further special highlight is the first-class spa area. Instead of a hotel spa, this feels more like a thermal spa and features everything you could wish for during a relaxing stay. From the various saunas and steam baths to the relaxing relaxation areas, everything was perfect. The breakfast was plentiful and varied, so there was something for everyone. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel. It offers excellent service, and no matter what request or question I had, the staff were always friendly, and helpful and went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Many thanks to the lovely staff for their wonderful hospitality!

NetherlandsThe cleaning staff are nice, but they seem a bit untrained and have made a few mistakes that are not up to industry standards: • Moving guests’ belongings unnecessarily. Nothing was lost, but it was not nice to see pajamas piled up on a chair. • Not having dedicated channels of transport of tools, resulting in them using the elevators alongside guests and creating congestion with carts. I have been assigned to stay in another building that misses a covered passage in between - had to run for 20 seconds in the rain to reach the main building, where the cafeteria and spa facilities are. Additionally, the parking rates, both hourly and for a “day card,” are relatively high. The location is less accessible without a car, which means that parking costs could be a consideration for those driving there.
Overall, we had a pretty good stay. Everything was nicely maintained at a sufficient level. Nothing too fancy, but pleasant.

GermanyBreakfast buffet extremely chilled, making some food items (fruits, vegetables) too cold to enjoy. While I appreciate a well-lit room, which was the case here, there weren't many options to create a more cozy lighting. Bathroom and room lighting not suitable for makeup application.
Reception staff very friendly and quick to help with any queries. Quiet and spaceous room, well-lit. Nice breakfast area and breakfast options. Hotel restaurant was only for guests using the spa, but there is a nice restaurant within walking distance of the hotel.
